Soon Amitabh Bachchan will be the voice of Google Maps in India

The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has been approached by the google to lent his voice in google maps. As the report suggests the 77-year-old actor has been approached by Google to use his voice in Google Maps. You may have listened to the legendary voice in many famous movies now its time to listen to him giving directions.

This is not the first time the actor has been approached to present his voice there were several times in the past where  Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice in famous movies, he has also lent his voice in Steven Spielberg's movie the Big Friendly Giant' in Hindi.

The lesser-known fact about  Amitabh Bachchan is that he entered the film industry not as an actor but as a voice-over artist. Mere Paas Aao’ from ‘Mr. Natwarlal’ (1979) was the first movie in which Amitabh Bachchan used his rich voice to add depth and drama to a Hindi film song. It will be exceptional to hear his legendary voice while commuting.

Currently, Google maps use the voice of Karen Jacobsen who is an Australia-born and New York-based entertainer, singer, motivational speaker, voice-over artist, and songwriter, she is also the voice behind Siri.

Google has collaborated with many celebrities in the past such as American actress Issa Rae and Grammy award-winning singer John Legend have lent their voices to Google Assistant, but they are region-restricted to the US and a few other countries.

However, it's still unclear that Amitabh Bachchan has accepted the offer or not but if he chooses to accept it then he will have to record his voice from his home to maintain social distancing norms due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
