Fitnapp raised an undisclosed amount of funding from SD Group

Delhi-based fitness startup Fitnapp has raised funding from SD Group, a player in real estate, education and international trading.

Fitnapp is a mobile marketplace which helps to discover and purchase numerous fitness classes, groups and activities – all under one membership. It also provides platform for fitness products like supplements, equipment's; gadgets like fitness band. Fitnapp operates on a model that is similar to that of ClassPass and Singapore-based KFit. It was founded in Oct 2015 by Akshay Jhinga,a former Ola executive along with Sagar Verma, who was associated with HT Media.

As of today, fitnapp have partnered with over 1,500 gyms and fitness studios in Delhi-NCR and have 20 employees. The platform has a monthly subscription plans that suits to all range of pocket sizes, which offers the users a single window for all its partner gyms, fitness studios and activity centers. The platform projects of acquiring 100,000 users in 12 months
The company will use the funds to expand its online presence, enhance its marketing efforts and increase its associations and partners.
