StartupTalky: Can you briefly introduce Travomint, its core services, and what sets it apart in the competitive online travel market?
Alok K Singh: Travomint is an online travel platform designed to make travel planning easy and stress-free. It offers a wide range of services, including domestic and international flight bookings, hotel stays, holiday packages, visa assistance, and other travel-related support. The platform focuses on providing good prices along with personalized customer care.
What truly sets Travomint apart is its strong focus on transparency, trust, and human support. While many travel platforms rely only on automated systems, Travomint ensures that customers have access to real people who assist them before, during, and after their bookings. This helps travellers make informed decisions and feel confident throughout their journey. With a technology-enabled booking system and a clear commitment to ethical practices, Travomint serves leisure travellers, business travellers, corporates, and frequent flyers who are looking for affordable travel options without sacrificing comfort or quality service.
StartupTalky: Over your nine-year journey, Travomint has expanded to 60+ countries. Could you share key metrics such as annual bookings, customer base, or revenue growth that highlight your scale and performance?
Alok K Singh: Over the past nine years, Travomint has steadily scaled its presence and now serves travellers in more than 60 countries. This growth shows our expanding reach and stronger operational capability. Each year, we have seen a clear rise in bookings and an increase in customers, including leisure travellers, business travellers, corporates, and frequent flyers.
While we do not share exact numbers, our progress is visible through consistent double-digit annual growth in key travel markets, a growing number of repeat customers, and a higher share of international bookings. We are able to handle large booking volumes thanks to a strong technology system and customer support teams available across multiple time zones.
Our revenue growth has followed this rise in bookings and is supported by a mix of flight bookings, additional services, and value-added travel solutions. Beyond numbers, our real success is measured in trust—shown by customer loyalty, referrals, and long-standing partnerships with airlines and travel suppliers.
Looking ahead, Travomint remains focused on responsible expansion, high service standards, and building a travel brand that customers around the world can rely on.
StartupTalky: On National Tourism Day, how do you see Travomint supporting domestic tourism and promoting India’s heritage and cultural destinations?
Alok K Singh: On National Tourism Day, Travomint believes its role goes beyond just bookings and travel plans. For us, it is about helping people connect more deeply with the spirit of India. India’s rich heritage, culture, and traditions are not just places to visit, but experiences to be understood, respected, and preserved. We will also amplify the visibility of Indian tourist destinations through sustained advertising and strategic content across its social media platforms, with the objective of creating awareness and educating travellers about India’s diverse travel experiences.
By offering reliable flight options to smaller towns and culturally important regions, we encourage travellers to look beyond major cities and explore the true diversity of India. When people visit heritage cities, spiritual destinations, and cultural regions, they also support local artisans, guides, hospitality staff, and small businesses. This kind of responsible tourism matters greatly to us.
On this occasion, we renew our commitment to celebrating India’s heritage—its monuments, festivals, food, and traditions—by encouraging travel that is thoughtful, curious, and respectful. To us, domestic tourism is more than a journey; it is a way of honouring India’s identity and cultural pride.
StartupTalky: Travomint combines technology with human support. How has this approach improved customer satisfaction, booking efficiency, or trust in your platform?
Alok K Singh: Travomint’s key strength is its balance of smart technology and real human support. The platform allows customers to book quickly, clearly, and without hassle, while the customer support team provides personal help at every step of the journey.
This mix helps reduce confusion, solve problems faster, and build trust, especially during flight changes, cancellations, or urgent travel situations. Customers appreciate knowing that behind the technology, there is a real team ready to assist them. Because of this approach, Travomint has achieved smoother booking processes, higher customer satisfaction, and long-term loyalty based on trust, quick response, and genuine care.
StartupTalky: With the recent domestic tourism boom, what shifts have you observed in traveller behaviour, and how has Travomint adapted its services to meet these trends?
Alok K Singh: With the recent growth in domestic tourism, travellers are becoming more value-conscious, flexible, and focused on meaningful experiences. There has been a noticeable increase in short trips, last-minute bookings, and interest in regional and cultural destinations. At the same time, travellers are placing greater importance on safety, clear information, and dependable support.
Travomint has responded by strengthening its partnerships with domestic airlines, offering competitive prices, making the booking process simpler, and improving customer support to handle quick changes or urgent needs. By using smart technology along with real human guidance, we help travellers enjoy smooth and stress-free journeys that match their changing expectations.
StartupTalky: Travomint operates in multiple international markets. What strategies have been key to scaling globally while maintaining service quality and customer trust?
Alok K Singh: For us, scaling globally while maintaining service quality has always been a people-first approach. Our main focus has been to blend reliable technology with local understanding. While our platform delivers speed, accurate pricing, and consistency across markets, our teams add regional knowledge, language support, and cultural awareness to every customer interaction.
We place great importance on building trusted partnerships with airlines and suppliers, maintaining clear communication, and following transparent processes, especially for changes and refunds. Most importantly, we invest in responsive human support, so customers always have someone to turn to when they need help. This balance of technology and human care has allowed Travomint to expand internationally without losing trust or service quality.
StartupTalky: With services spanning flights, hotels, and visas, which business segment contributes most to revenue, and how do you plan to diversify or expand your offerings further?
Alok K Singh: Flights remain Travomint’s main source of revenue, as air travel is the most common and time-critical requirement for travellers. At the same time, hotel bookings and visa services are becoming increasingly important, as they help improve the overall travel experience and build long-term relationships with customers.
Our goal is to offer a smooth, end-to-end travel journey rather than focusing on one-time bookings. Looking ahead, we plan to strengthen bundled travel options, expand services for corporate clients and frequent travellers, and add more value-driven services. This balanced approach supports steady growth while meeting the changing needs of both leisure and business travellers.
StartupTalky: What are the key growth priorities for Travomint in the next 2–3 years in terms of market expansion, technology upgrades, or customer engagement?
Alok K Singh: Over the next two to three years, Travomint will focus on growing its customer base, expanding its global presence, and improving the overall travel experience. We plan to add more routes across the US, Gulf region, and Southeast Asia, where demand is strong and growth opportunities are high, especially in the US travel market.
At the same time, we are investing in technology upgrades to make bookings faster, smarter, and more personalized. We also plan to expand our additional services, giving travellers more flexibility and value beyond flight bookings. By combining customised travel options with reliable human support, Travomint aims to grow responsibly while building lasting trust and stronger relationships with customers.
