StartupTalky presents Recap'25, a series of exclusive interviews where we connect with founders and industry leaders to reflect on their journey in 2025 and discuss their vision for the future.

In this edition of Recap’25, StartupTalky speaks with Amit Srivastava, Founder and Chief Catalyst of Nutrify Today, who reflects on a year defined by the convergence of deep science, AI, and supply-chain execution in the nutraceutical industry. As global demand shifted toward clinically substantiated, regulation-ready wellness products in 2025, Nutrify Today positioned itself as a biochemistry-first innovation and commercialization platform — helping brands turn science-backed ideas into market-ready SKUs within 45 to 60 days.

Srivastava shares how the company expanded its ecosystem through NutriGPT, DealSphere, and modular GenAI engines that streamline formulation logic, regulatory checks, and supply-chain readiness. The conversation explores how Nutrify Today is bringing pharmaceutical-style rigour to nutraceutical innovation without slowing speed, while also solving execution gaps caused by fragmented global supply networks.

StartupTalky: What service does Nutrify Today provide? What was the motivation/vision with which you started?

Amit Srivastava: What We Do

Nutrify Today is a full-service platform for innovating and selling nutraceuticals. It can turn product ideas into market-ready, compliant SKUs in 45 to 60 days. Our approach is biochemistry-first for product development, GenAI-powered workflows, and a tested supply-chain marketplace.

Main Services

Biochemistry-first innovation: We don’t follow the standard process of first developing products and then aligning them with claims. We begin with biochemical mechanisms and dose logic, then build product architecture, validate regulatory compliance, and confirm manufacturability—delivering speed without sacrificing rigour.

NutriGPT: Create your own formula co-pilot that takes the product's intent and turns it into structured formulas with dose reasoning, substantiation trails, and checks to make sure they can be made.

DealSphere: Browse spec-ready product opportunities and commercialize in 45-60 days through our mapped supply chain—built for rapid pipeline refresh.

GenAI Modules: On-demand execution engines for dossier development, regulatory checks, BOM optimization, and clinical trial design—reducing weeks to days.

Who We Help For brands: An operating system that helps you get your ideas to market faster, with less risk and less work.

For supply partners: Qualified, spec-driven opportunities through an audited ecosystem that improves the quality of leads and conversions.

More than Digital We bring together industry leaders through our C-Suite platform and train the next generation of talent through Nutrify Today Academy. This makes the ecosystem stronger by promoting scientific literacy and evidence-based thinking.

Why We Began To solve two ongoing problems: Innovation without strict biochemical standards and problems with execution caused by broken supply chains. We want to make nutraceutical development as organized as pharmaceutical development, without slowing it down, and make it easier for brands of all sizes to get high-quality new ideas.

StartupTalky: What new services have been added in the past year? What are the USPs of your service?

Amit Srivastava: New This Year

We have DealSphere, which helps with 45-60-day commercialisation, NutriGPT for biochemistry-first formulation design, and modular GenAI delivery for on-demand technical outputs.

What Makes Us Different

Our biochemistry-first approach (mechanism before marketing) helps us to launch real idea-to-market integration in a 45- to 60-day time frame. This is curated through a global intelligence base with 12.5 million+ data points from 13 countries and is a two-sided value proposition for buyers and sellers. With the audited ecosystem, we also use modular GenAI for faster outputs, ISO-certified processes, and peer recognition for two consecutive years (Elsevier publications and ASN selections).

StartupTalky: How has the industry changed in recent years, and how has Nutrify Today adapted?

Amit Srivastava: Post-pandemic, there has been a shift in what people want from wellness products. What had worked for everyone now wasn’t relevant; people started asking for proof and clinical validation. We changed by making Deep Tech a part of our core business. This meant teaching AI how to make sense of clinical data and global rules. Our ConcierGenie and NutriGPT are like science-based co-pilots that make sure that every formulation is based on data and biochemical processes, not guesswork.

StartupTalky: What key metrics do you track to check the Nutrify Today's growth and performance?

Amit Srivastava: Our CEO dashboard focuses on things like IP filed and commercialized, the success rate of 45-60 day commercialization SLAs, active and repeat buyers, GMV/deal value influenced, empanelled partners with OTIF quality scores, ecosystem business value delivered, Academy certifications and placement readiness, gross margin and cash efficiency, and a team happiness index with attrition tracking.

StartupTalky: What were the most significant challenges Nutrify Today faced in the past year and how did you overcome them?

Amit Srivastava: Interest in execution: Developed a solution with a tighter scope and a clear 45–60 day promise by moving from NutriGPT to GenAI modules to DealSphere. Strictness versus speed: accelerated with modular outputs while maintaining the biochemistry-first workflow and ISO-compliant procedures. Increased audited partners, standardised specifications, and monitored OTIF metrics for consistent execution all contribute to supply chain trust. Enhancing curation procedures and concentrating more on outputs that are prepared for use in decision-making rather than raw data are two ways to scale knowledge. Market differentiation: Based on proof—publications, scientific recognition—and seen as an ecosystem fulcrum, not just another AI tool.

Talent capacity: We grew our Academy and made playbooks the same for everyone so that we could track team happiness while scaling expertise.

StartupTalky: What are the different strategies you use for marketing? Tell us about any growth hack that you pulled off.

Amit Srivastava: We grow through stories that are based on credibility, ISO-certified processes, and peer recognition, as well as a product-led engine that makes innovation happen right away. From NutriGPT's formulation intelligence to DealSphere's 45–60 day pathway, every step turns intent into results that are ready to be launched. We set up an audited supply ecosystem and bring together decision-makers through global C-Suite meetings. This makes Nutrify Today the place where science-grade innovation meets commercialization-grade speed.

StartupTalky: What are the important tools and software you use to run your business smoothly?

Amit Srivastava: We use a modern AI and data stack that was made for cutting-edge science. At its core is a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture that combines our carefully chosen evidence library with advanced language models: semantic search, knowledge graphs, and Python automation power our modules behind the scenes. Enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and ISO-aligned quality systems make sure that governance, auditability, and scale are all in place.

StartupTalky: What opportunities do you see for future growth in your industry in India and the world? What kind of difference in market behavior have you seen between India and the world?

Amit Srivastava: India is where the real pool of talent and resources is. Here, we can come up with new ideas and put them into action. It's where the discipline of pharmaceuticals meets the need for nutraceuticals and the depth of manufacturing. For us, the world is the high-value markets and our amplification layer, and the complexity of the process is our moat. We want India to be the place where responsible innovation starts and global markets to be the place where high-trust commercialization happens over and over again. To do this, we're using NutriGPT, modular GenAI, and DealSphere together.

StartupTalky: How are you using AI, whether in service delivery, internal processes, or customer experience, and what impact has it created?

Amit Srivastava: Our entire journey from idea to market is powered by AI and an RAG architecture built on carefully curated scientific, regulatory, and specification knowledge. In days instead of weeks, teams go from idea to formula logic, proof, claim guardrails, Clinical design and BOM readiness. The results are shorter development cycles, more consistent regulatory work, better matching of supply chains, and more responsible innovation. This means that things will happen faster, there will be fewer surprises, and people will trust you more.

StartupTalky: How do you plan to expand the Customers, service offering, and team base in the future?

Amit Srivastava: We're making our platform better by adding to our curated knowledge base, improving the modular GenAI outputs, and making our globally audited supply ecosystem stronger. We're also expanding our C-Suite meetings around the world and our Academy to train people for the jobs of the future. The goal is to become the global operating system for responsible nutraceutical innovation and commercialization.

StartupTalky: One tip that you would like to share with another Service company founder?

Amit Srivastava: Make your knowledge into a repeatable result, not hours. Set up one specific, high-pain use case, make sure delivery is consistent with strict SLAs, and monitor it from start to finish. When clients know they can count on the same speed and quality every time, you stop selling services and start selling confidence. This is much more scalable than headcount.
