Compared to INR 2,745.7 Cr (about $3.1 billion) in the previous fiscal year, Apple India's net earnings increased 16% to INR 3,196 Cr (around $3.6 billion) in the fiscal year 2024–25 (FY25). A consistent increase in the company's top line preceded the increase in the bottom line. Apple India Pvt. Ltd., the local subsidiary of the Cupertino-based behemoth, also reported a 19% growth in operating revenue from INR 66,727.7 Cr (about $7.4 billion) in FY24 to INR 79,060.5 Cr (roughly $8.8 billion) in the fiscal year under review.

Apple India's overall revenue for FY25 was INR 79,378.4 Cr, which included INR 176.8 Cr from finance and INR 141.1 Cr from other sources. For Apple India, the selling of exchanged goods—which includes the sale of iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and other products—was a significant source of income. Revenue from this bucket amounted INR 74,680.5 Cr in FY25, up 18% year-on-year (YoY).

Apple Care and Other Services Expanded Operating Revenue

During the fiscal year, Apple India's operational revenue increased by an additional INR 4,380 Cr due to the sale of services. This includes the technical and support services it offers its clients, such as AppleCare. For the full fiscal year that concluded in September 2025 (FY25), Apple Inc., the parent company of the massive computer giant, reported a net sale of $416.2 billion versus a net profit of $112 billion.

FY25 for the Nasdaq-listed company runs from October 2024 to September 2025. Nevertheless, Apple's consistent expansion in India coincides with the company's efforts to strengthen its omnichannel sales approach there. The organisation currently operates three flagship locations across the nation: Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. This year, it intends to open two more locations in Hyderabad and Pune. Its "Make in India" policy also contributed to the company's increased profit margins. By as early as 2026, the large tech company plans to move all of the iPhones sold in the US to India, according to an April announcement.

India Emerged as a Right Destination for Apple

Apple currently produces all of its iPhone 16 series products locally in India, and it has also started producing its most recent iPhone 17. Apple has several significant contract manufacturers in India, including Foxconn, Tata Technologies, and Pegatron. In FY25, the company's total exports of iPhones from India increased by 76% to INR 1.50 Lakh Cr (free on board value).

From INR 63,397 Cr in the previous fiscal year to INR 75,190 Cr in FY25, Apple India's overall expenses increased by more than 18%. The amount spent under this heading increased by 18% from INR 54,147 Cr in FY24 to INR 64,010.9 Cr in the fiscal year under review. The company's expenses for employee benefits increased by more than 19% from INR 2,599.7 Cr in the previous fiscal year to INR 3,107.4 Cr in FY25. Costs under this heading increased by 20% from INR 728.7 Cr in FY24 to INR 877.1 Cr in the fiscal year that ended in March 2025.
