Codeyoung Raises $5 Million
Ed-tech platform Codeyoung secured $5 million in its Series A round led by 12 Flags Group and Enzia Ventures. The company offers one-to-one online classes for students aged 5–17 across coding, maths, English, science, AP and SAT preparation. It has delivered over 200,000 teaching hours to 25,000+ students in 15 countries. The new capital will support global expansion, development of AI-driven personalisation tools and addition of new learning categories.
Nia.one Secures $2.4 Million Seed Funding
Worker-focused platform Nia.one raised $2.4 million in seed funding from Elevar Equity. Launched in 2024, it operates “phygital” hubs near worksites to provide gig and blue-collar workers with verified jobs, housing, meals, mobility and essential services. The company currently serves around 3,000 workers across 50 cities. Funds will be used to scale these hubs and expand worker access to affordable, reliable services.
ExtraMile Play Raises $500K in Seed Round
Employee-engagement SaaS platform ExtraMile Play closed a $500K seed round led by GSF, with participation from Mount Judi Ventures, GrowthSense and Growth91. Founded in 2011, the company offers gamified digital engagement experiences backed by behavioural science. It currently serves over 100 enterprises and 150,000+ employees worldwide. The investment will go towards product upgrades, tech enhancement and expansion into new enterprise verticals and global markets.

Pine Labs Lists with Nearly 10% Gain
Pine Labs made a strong market debut with its shares listing at around a 9.5% premium, opening at ₹242 against an IPO price of ₹221. The company raised approximately ₹3,900 crore through a mix of fresh issue and offer-for-sale. It also recently secured RBI licences for payment aggregation, payment gateway operations and cross-border payments. Pine Labs reported around 28.5% revenue growth in FY25 to ₹2,274 crore while significantly reducing its net losses.
National Investment Fund II Exits Ather Energy
National Investment Fund II exited most of its 4.7% stake in Ather Energy through a bulk deal totalling ₹1,083 crore. The fund sold 1.74 crore shares at an average price of ₹622.35. Buyers included Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Invesco, Société Générale and Edelweiss. Ather recently reported strong sales momentum with October registrations rising 53% to 28,061 units.
Blackstone and SoftBank in Talks for Stakes in Neysa
Blackstone and SoftBank are in early discussions to acquire stakes in cloud infrastructure startup Neysa Networks. Blackstone is exploring a majority stake, while SoftBank is considering a minority investment. Neysa, founded in 2023 by Sharad Sanghi and Anindya Das, provides AI-ready cloud infrastructure and has previously raised about USD 50 million from Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners) and Nexus Venture Partners.
BharatAgri Shuts Down Due to Funding Crunch
Agritech startup BharatAgri has shut operations after failing to raise its next funding round of $6-8 million. Despite having over one million registered users, the company struggled with mounting losses and investor concerns about the sector’s total addressable market. Most employees have been let go, and the startup plans to return the remaining capital to investors.
Adani Group Announces ₹63,000 Crore Investment in Assam
The Adani Group has committed ₹63,000 crore to develop major energy projects in Assam. Adani Power will invest about ₹48,000 crore in a 3,200 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant, while Adani Green Energy will invest around ₹15,000 crore in two pumped-storage projects totalling 2,700 MW. The projects are expected to create around 30,000 jobs during construction and will begin phased commissioning from December 2030.
