HDFC Mutual Fund Launches HDFC BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund to Track Top Companies Across Sectors

HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC), Investment Manager to HDFC Mutual Fund, has announced the launch of the HDFC BSE India Sector Leaders Index Fund, an open-ended scheme replicating the BSE India Sector Leaders Index (TRI).

The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on 7th November 2025 and closes on 21st November 2025. The fund aims to provide investors exposure to India’s sector leaders by investing in the top three companies by market capitalisation from each sector.

The BSE India Sector Leaders Index includes 20+ sectors, allowing investors to participate in India’s growth story with balanced and diversified exposure. Sectors represented include Financial Services, IT, FMCG, Automobiles, Telecom, and Construction, among others.

The fund will be managed by Ms. Nandita Menezes and Mr. Arun Agarwal. Investors can start with a minimum investment of INR 100 during the NFO and continue investing after the fund reopens for regular subscription and redemption. There is no upper investment limit, and unit allotments will be subject to applicable stamp duty.

The BSE India Sector Leaders Index selects the top three stocks from each sector of the BSE 500 Index, based on average six-month daily total market capitalisation.
