Ola Electric starts nationwide deliveries of its new 4680 Bharat Cell EVs

The first phase of bulk delivery of Ola Electric's 4680 Bharat Cell-powered automobiles has been announced. The first model to be powered by the company's domestically produced 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack, which offers increased performance, safety, and range, is the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh).

Ola Electric said in a statement that it is now the first company in India to fully own the battery pack and cell production process in-house, thanks to its own battery packs in the vehicles. An Ola Electric representative commented on the news, saying that S1 Pro+ has generated a lot of excitement. Customers are happily riding India's first scooters, which are powered by Ola Electric's 4680 Bharat Cell, while deliveries are currently underway. This is a significant milestone for India's transition into a worldwide EV hub as well as for Ola. We are now prepared to bring this innovative product and technology to every region of the nation, as the national rollout will shortly begin.

Loaded Features of S1 Pro+

With a 13 kW motor, the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) can accelerate quickly from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.1 seconds. 320 km is the range of the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) (IDC with DIY mode). The S1 Pro+ boasts four riding modes—Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco—as well as category-first dual ABS and front and rear disc brakes for increased safety.

Additionally, it features rim decals, a new die-cast aluminium grab handle, body-coloured mirrors, a two-tone seat with supportive foam, improved ergonomics and comfort, and an enlarged colour scheme that includes Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue. At the moment, Ola Electric offers a wide range of Roadster X motorcycles and S1 scooters.

The S1 Pro+ in 5.2 kWh and 4 kWh variants and the S1 Pro in 4 kWh and 3 kWh configurations are part of the premium S1 Gen 3 lineup. The Gen 3 S1 X+ (4 kWh) and Gen 3 S1 X (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh) are among the mass market products offered by the company. The S1 Pro Sport is available in 5.2 kWh and 4 kWh versions as part of the company's sports scooter lineup.

Ola Electric to Recruit 1,000 Senior Service Experts

In an effort to improve its after-sales operations, Ola Electric is planning to engage over 1,000 senior service technicians and specialist professionals as part of the next phase of its Hyperservice program, individuals familiar with the matter told PTI. The expansion would greatly augment Ola’s existing after-sales workforce of around 2,000 personnel and follows several weeks of rapid-response deployments to clear service backlogs across major regions. Various media publications suggested that this is the second, more structural leg of Hyperservice. The task force was the key element in the combat. Making sure the company doesn't have to go through it again is the goal of this phase.
