Myntra, the Flipkart-owned fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform, has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The move comes as the company sharpens its focus on technology-led growth and platform scale.

Myntra Strengthens Tech Strategy with New CTO Appointment

Myntra has been increasing its investment in technology to improve the shopping experience, discovery, and personalisation. As competition rises in India’s fashion e-commerce space, technology is becoming central to growth and customer retention.

The company is focusing on building long-term digital strength. This includes better data systems, smarter personalisation tools, and scalable platforms. Adiddam’s appointment supports this long-term strategy rather than short-term changes.

Industry experts see this as part of a wider trend. E-commerce companies are now prioritising strong tech leadership to stay competitive and future-ready.

What Happened: Timeline of the Appointment

April 2025: Myntra’s former technology leader Raghu Krishnananda exited the company after more than five years in senior product and technology leadership roles.

7 February 2026: Myntra officially announced Pramod Adiddam as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The appointment took effect immediately, with Adiddam taking charge of the company’s technology and engineering strategy.

Leadership Move to Support Digital Growth and Platform Scale

The appointment is part of Myntra’s wider leadership strengthening efforts. The company is aligning its business goals with technology growth.

As CTO, Adiddam will oversee engineering, platform development, and data systems. He will also guide new technology initiatives that support Myntra’s expansion plans.

With fashion e-commerce now driven by AI recommendations, personalisation, and content-based shopping, Myntra is building systems that can scale with user demand and changing consumer behaviour.
