Veteran Investor Madhusudan Kela Invests INR 75 Crore in Wow! Momo Foods

Wow! Momo Foods has raised INR ₹75 crore in fresh funding led by veteran investor Madhusudan Kela, marking a strong vote of confidence in the brand’s growth journey and execution capability. The capital infusion is expected to support Wow! Momo’s next phase of growth, with continued focus on disciplined expansion, product innovation, and strengthening its path to profitability. 

Wow! Momo, which runs 4 strong national brands Wow!  Momo, Wow! China and Wow! Chicken has a formidable footprint of over 800+ outlets across 80+ cities. The Company aims to enter more than 100 cities and look at a footprint of over 1500 stores in the next two years. Along with its QSR fortification, it has also forayed & fortified their position into the FMCG sector along with their QSR vertical, which has made their cumulative growth story into a blockbuster story.

Madhusudan Kela’s belief in our journey strengthens our conviction to scale faster, innovate deeper, and continue building a brand that Indians love and trust.” stated the founding team in a statement.

The company has also appointed Avendus as bankers for a larger round later next year.  

Wow! Momo closed last fiscal FY 25 at a revenue of appx INR 640 plus crores growing over 30% Y-O-Y; FY26 the brand is in a strong position to achieve INR 850 Crores mark. With a double digit SSSG and a growth of over 40% Y-O-Y.

The successful closure of this funding round highlights Wow! Momo's position as a key player in the Indian QSR landscape, reflecting investor confidence in its business model, growth prospects, and commitment to excellence.
