Expressing his dedication, Ambani shared with the news agency ANI, "What began as a deep-rooted passion in my early years has now evolved into a dedicated mission with Vantara and our exceptional, devoted team. Our aim is to safeguard critically endangered species indigenous to India," Ambani stated. "Our goals extend to rejuvenating crucial ecosystems, mitigating immediate risks to wildlife, and establishing Vantara as a forefront conservation initiative. We are honored by the recognition our endeavors have received, both within India and on a global stage," he further noted.

Ambani revealed that leading experts in zoology and medicine from both India and around the world have committed to the Vantara project. He highlighted the active support and advice the initiative is receiving from governmental agencies, as well as research and academic entities.

He disclosed that Vantara seeks to collaborate with the Zoo Authority of India and various other pertinent governmental bodies. This partnership aims to enhance the quality of over 150 zoos across India by offering training, building capacity, and upgrading the infrastructure for animal care.

Ambani expressed his aspiration for Vantara, stating, "We envision Vantara as a global symbol of hope, demonstrating the impact of progressive institutions on worldwide efforts to conserve biodiversity."

As part of the Vantara initiative, an area spanning 3000 acres within the Green Belt of Reliance's Jamnagar Refinery Complex in Gujarat has been transformed into an environment resembling a jungle. This newly created habitat is designed to be rich, verdant, and nurturing, providing an ideal setting for the rehabilitation and flourishing of rescued species.

Vantara is dedicated to establishing premier practices in animal conservation and care, featuring advanced medical facilities, hospitals, and centers for research and education. The project engages in partnerships with globally recognized universities and entities, including the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).

Over recent years, the initiative has successfully rescued over 200 elephants and thousands of other creatures, including various reptiles and birds, from dangerous conditions. It has spearheaded rehabilitation efforts for critical species such as rhinos, leopards, and crocodiles.

Additionally, Vantara has extended its rescue efforts to international locales, including Mexico and Venezuela, among others.

The program collaborates with leading global organizations, like the Venezuelan National Foundation of Zoos, and partners with prestigious institutions such as the Smithsonian and the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Within India, its collaboration extends to notable facilities such as the National Zoological Park, Assam State Zoo, Nagaland Zoological Park, and Sardar Patel Zoological Park, to name a few.

The center is supported by a dedicated team of 500 professionals, including veterinarians, nutritionists, and pathologists. It offers specialized care through amenities like hydrotherapy pools, an expansive elephant jacuzzi, and therapeutic clay massages, catering to the comprehensive well-being of over 200 elephants.

Beyond elephants, the Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre under the Vantara umbrella serves as a sanctuary for a multitude of animals rescued from abusive situations or critical conditions. With a committed team of 2,100 staff, the center has provided a haven for over 2,000 animals across 43 different species. The facility prides itself on its advanced medical capabilities, featuring ICU, MRI, CT scans, X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental care, lithotripsy, dialysis, and sophisticated technology for conducting live video consultations during surgeries, reflecting an unparalleled dedication to the care of its inhabitants.
