AAHL, Blinkit Roll Out In-Terminal Quick Commerce at Mumbai Airport
The first in-terminal rapid commerce service in India was introduced at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) in collaboration with Blinkit. Terminal 2, domestic departures, is now offering the service, which integrates app-based delivery straight into the airport.
Through the Blinkit app, travellers may arrange for the delivery of necessary items to their specific position within the terminal. Deliveries are permitted to include the following areas: boarding gates, lounges, the food court, and some partner stores. Trained on-site personnel carry out deliveries, guaranteeing a smooth and safe experience without interfering with travel schedules.
Win-Win Deal for Both Blinkit and AAHL
The project pushes deeper online acceptance and customer penetration for Blinkit by expanding fast commerce into a high-frequency, high-intent setting. This exemplifies AAHL's strategic goal of improving passenger convenience and achieving growth outside of aviation through digitally enabled retail. Among the many things on sale are gadgets, snacks, literature, baby supplies, and travel gear. In accordance with airport security regulations, authorised in-terminal inventory is used to obtain permissible liquids, including bottled water, cold drinks, and juices.
The Adani Airports are rethinking the potential of digital services to improve passengers' airport experiences, according to an AAHL spokesperson. Customers are able to make more efficient use of their time, and the level of service is improved when app-based convenience is introduced into the terminal. More responsive and passenger-centric airports are on the horizon, and this is a step in the right direction. In addition to expanding shoppers' options outside the usual time and place limitations, the service lowers prices and opens up new levels of accessibility to airport retail.
Eternal Exploring More AI Options with OpenAI
Eternal, parent company of Blinkit, is also thinking about incorporating OpenAI's most recent code models inside. Stitch, the company's own platform for automation and developer orchestration, includes GPT-5.3 Codex among these models. With Stitch, one can automate every step of the process, whether one is an engineer or not. With this cooperation, Stitch will be able to help companies ship faster, automate complicated procedures, and reduce manual overhead across tasks, according to Eternal.
In addition, Eternal and OpenAI will investigate the possibility of working together on a Partner Upskilling Program. This programme would encourage the use of artificial intelligence (AI) within Eternal's network of restaurants and delivery services. In order to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and corporate decision-making, the program will centre on integrating advanced AI tools and assistants into partner apps and portals.
