Apple Expands India Footprint with Launch of Sixth Official Store

In a statement released on 13 February, Apple announced that its sixth store will be opening in Borivali, Mumbai. During the unveiling of the barricades for the forthcoming Apple store in India, the iPhone maker made the announcement. In April 2023, Apple debuted its first store in Mumbai and a second location in Delhi.  The Borivali Sky City Mall is home to the Apple Borivali store.

Features and Design of Apple New Store

In a statement, Apple Borivali embraced a visually striking design that drew inspiration from peacocks. The design communicated a sense of confidence, attention to detail, and arrival, as viewed through Apple's creative vision. Apple Noida, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, and Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru were the initial locations to have the peacock design. Dedicated business teams, specialists, Creatives, and Geniuses are on hand to help consumers with any questions they may have while they peruse and buy the newest Apple products at Apple Borivali.

Also, every day, Apple Creatives host free in-store events called "Today at Apple" that aim to inspire creativity, educate, and help customers get the most out of their Apple products. Apple Borivali, in addition to the Apple Store website and app, and services like Apple Pickup, Apple Trade In, Personal Setup, and assistance with migrating to iOS, bolsters Apple's dedication to its Indian customers by providing more tailored, streamlined, and protected avenues of interaction with the tech giant, according to Apple.

On February 26th Apple Store to Start Operations

According to the official website, the Apple Borivali store is scheduled to open its doors to consumers on 26 February at 1 pm. "The doors of your brand-new Apple Store will shortly open. We are excited to witness the realisation of your exceptional ideas at Apple Borivali," the website of the iPhone manufacturer stated.

The company's expansion continued in 2025 with the establishment of three stores—Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, Apple Koregaon Park in Pune, and, most recently, Apple Noida—following the 2023 opening of two stores in Mumbai BKC and Delhi. When asked about the company's plans to open stores outside of major cities, Apple VP of stores and retail operations Vanessa Trigub stated that the company's priority is providing customers with a consistent experience across all of its channels, including online and in-store.
