Circolife Raises $4.5 Million Pre-Series A Funding

Circolife raised $4.5 million, around INR 40.45 crore, in a pre-Series A round led by Bharat Jaisinghani, joint managing director of Polycab India. The round also saw participation from a group of individual, fund and family-office investors, including Nitish Mittersain, Intelliquity Ventures and Anant Goenka. The funds will expand its fleet and geographic footprint, scale installation and service capabilities, and advance its AI-augmented IoT predictive-maintenance platform.

Founded in 2023 by Abhishek Murarka, Tushar Patil and Devanshu Mishra, Circolife is a Thane-based Cooling-as-a-Service platform that owns, installs and services air-conditioning units throughout their working life. The company currently operates across five Indian cities and plans to increase its subscription base fourfold to reach 40,000 units within the next 24 months.

Fundly.ai Raises $4 Million Funding

Fundly.ai raised $4 million in a funding round led by existing investors Accel and Multiply Ventures, along with former RBL Bank executive director Rajeev Ahuja and other angel investors. The company also raised around $0.9 million in venture debt. The fresh capital will expand its digital commerce, payments and credit offerings across India's pharma supply chain.

Founded in 2021 by Amit Chawla and Shreeram Ramanathan, Fundly.ai is a Mumbai-based B2B pharma distribution startup that started as a supply-chain financing platform and has since expanded into commerce, payments and embedded credit. The round builds on its earlier $3 million seed round in 2023, also led by Accel.

DigitalPaani Raises INR 22 Crore Funding

DigitalPaani raised INR 22 crore, about $2.3 million, in a funding round led by Navam Capital, with participation from Enzia Ventures, Chakra Growth Capital, 3one4 Capital, Momentum Capital and others. The startup did not disclose the round's stage or valuation. The funds will expand across industrial and municipal markets, scale operations to serve more institutional customers, and support entry into international markets.

Founded in 2020 by father-daughter duo Mansi Jain and Rajesh Jain, the Delhi NCR-based startup operates an AI- and IoT-powered platform that helps businesses, utilities and municipalities manage water and wastewater infrastructure. DigitalPaani currently serves more than 95 facilities that collectively treat over 150 million litres of water daily, with customers including Britannia, Leela Hotels and Tata Group.

ARC Raises INR 10.5 Crore Pre-Seed Funding

ARC raised INR 10.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by Chimera VC and MIXI Global Investments, with participation from Meta APAC director Dhruv Vohra in his personal capacity. The funds will accelerate hardware engineering, product validation, manufacturing and supply-chain readiness, alongside development of its OWL OS gaming software platform.

Founded by Jobin Joseph and Kaustubh K. Jadhav, Bengaluru-based ARC is developing ARC X1, a portable gaming system built on ARM-based architecture powered by Qualcomm technology, supporting Android gaming, PC-game compatibility and cloud gaming. The company has already crossed 50,000 waitlist sign-ups ahead of its commercial launch.

Iztri Raises INR 10 Crore Seed Funding

Iztri raised INR 10 crore, over $1 million, in a seed round led by All In Capital and Suashish Group, with participation from Anupam Mittal, Kunal Shah, Tanmay Bhat, Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini and Shadowfax founders Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khadelwal. The funds will expand its hub network, strengthen operational and technology infrastructure, and support expansion into dry cleaning and shoe care.

Founded in 2024 by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary, Iztri is a Bengaluru-based fabric care startup that runs an apartment hub model combining neighbourhood infrastructure, trained workers and technology to standardise clothes-ironing services. The startup serves more than 25,000 customers across Bengaluru and aims to serve over 100,000 customers within six months.

Sorry Sugar Raises $1 Million Seed Funding

Sorry Sugar raised $1 million in a seed round co-led by the Dhanuka family and Amishi London. The funds will expand its online and offline presence across North India and support new product launches.

Founded this year by Deepak Pathak, Kunal Verma, Shashank Sherawat and Saiyam Malik, Sorry Sugar is a Gurugram-based beverage brand offering zero-added-sugar drinks sweetened with monk fruit, including coffee-based flavours. The brand claims more than INR 1 crore in revenue in its first month and is targeting an ARR of over INR 60 crore by the end of the current financial year.

Udaan Acquires Swiggy-Owned LYNK In INR 500 Crore Deal

Udaan acquired Swiggy-owned retail distribution platform LYNK in a share-swap deal worth INR 500 crore. Udaan's parent Trustroot Internet will issue Swiggy Networks 166,534 Series R preference shares valued at about $52.37 million, while a separate INR 75 crore primary investment will take Swiggy's total stake in Udaan to about 3.2%. The deal is expected to close by 22 October.

Founded in 2015 by Abinav Raja and Shekhar Bhende, LYNK links FMCG brands with merchants and generated INR 668 crore in revenue for Swiggy in FY26, nearly 3% of its total revenue. About three-quarters of LYNK's income comes from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata, and the acquisition follows Udaan's $160 million recapitalisation exercise announced earlier.

Jio Targets September 2027 Test Launch For 1,600-Satellite LEO Network

Reliance Jio is targeting September 2027 for the test launch of satellites for its proposed 1,600-satellite low earth orbit constellation. The test will involve placing a small number of satellites in orbit to validate hardware, software and other technologies before mass deployment begins in early 2028.

Jio plans to deploy 400 to 450 satellites by 2030 and complete the full constellation by 2035, competing with Starlink, Amazon Leo and Eutelsat OneWeb in India's satellite broadband market. The company has filed an application with the International Telecommunication Union for orbital slots and has already received clearance from IN-SPACe.

W Health Ventures Closes Fund II At INR 700 Crore

Healthcare-focused venture firm W Health Ventures closed its second fund at INR 700 crore, oversubscribing its initial target of INR 630 crore. The fund plans to build 8 to 10 healthcare companies from the pre-idea stage to category leaders over the next four years, writing cheques of INR 30 to 50 crore.

Founded in 2020, W Health Ventures follows a company-creation model where an in-house team of physicians, operators and technologists identifies healthcare gaps before bringing in a founding team. Fund II has already launched Everhope Oncology, built with Narayana Health, and Everbright Health, and the firm says its portfolio companies have reached 25 million patients to date.
