Musk Says AI Will Overtake Movies, Games, and Podcasts
According to Elon:
- AI will make most movies, podcasts, and video content in the near future.
- AI will make real-time videos instantly (even better than what we have today), and almost all digital content will be AI.
- The future of video games will change with AI, meaning they'll become extremely realistic and interactive.
- He believes that AI tools (made by his company, xAI, and others) are becoming incredibly good at acting like humans. They can even act like humans with complex personalities or emotional scars.
Live Events Will Become Valuable…
Since everything is AI, real-life shows will be valued more. Speaking about the same, Nikhil Kamath noted that people are returning to concerts, stand-up shows, and sports events. And so Musk agreed and said:
- As digital content (especially AI-generated) becomes more common and almost free, real shows will become special.
- Live, in-person events can't be copied or duplicated by AI (giving a premium feel altogether).
Live Events Could Become Good Investments…
Kamath asked Elon if live experiences will become more expensive and whether they’re a good investment. To which Elon said, 'Yes, here's why:
- Since all is AI and digital, live events can get scarce (there will be only a few real shows).
- The value for real shows will go up.
- Therefore, real shows could become a more profitable industry in the future.
Musk Shared Something Personal Too...
In the podcast, Musk also revealed two surprising personal details:
That Elon's partner Shivon Zilis is “half-Indian.”
- Shivon Zilis is a director of operations and special projects at Neuralink.
- One of Elon's children has an Indian middle name
His child's middle name is “Sekhar.”
“One of my sons is with her; his middle name is Sekhar, after Chandrasekhar.”
- He is named after the famous Indian astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, who won the Nobel Prize.
