Google’s AI Plus Subscription Goes Global with Expansion to 35 New Markets

Google is expanding its AI subscription service worldwide. According to the firm, Google AI Plus will be available in 35 countries, including the US, and would automatically upgrade current Google One customers. As competition in consumer AI services heats up, the expansion seeks to provide customers with more access to cutting-edge AI capabilities at more affordable prices.

With the most recent release, Google AI Plus gives users access to a collection of high-end AI models and apps that are intended to increase creativity and productivity. These include the Gemini app's Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro, Flow's AI-powered filmmaking tools, and NotebookLM's research and writing support.

Pricing and Offerings of Google AI Plus

Google AI Plus presents itself as a combination productivity and storage solution by delivering 200 GB of cloud storage in addition to AI functions. Additionally, up to five family members can share the membership, giving all homes access to AI technologies. Over the next few days, Google stated, current Google One Premium 2TB customers in the newly added countries would automatically be able to enjoy Google AI Plus capabilities at no extra cost. Google AI Plus costs $7.99 a month in the US. The company is running a limited-time promotion that offers new customers 50% off for the first two months in an effort to encourage early adoption.

Google Beefing up its AI Domain

The company wants to make its most powerful AI models and tools more available to regular people, not just businesses; therefore, it is expanding Google AI Plus internationally. The action also underscores Google's overarching plan to offer flexible price levels to appeal to a wider audience while further integrating AI into its consumer products.
