As AI reshapes advertising and enterprise communication, TrueFan AI is emerging as India’s largest AI video platform for enterprises. The company has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3Partners, with participation from IAN Alpha Fund, and 3Lines Venture Capital. TrueFan AI has built a foundational AI video model which enables large enterprises to generate video content at scale, replacing traditional production cycles with on-demand video creation. The platform today works with over 100 enterprises and has built AI avatars for a wide range of personas - from A-list Bollywood and cricket celebrities to doctors, merchants, distributors and business leaders

TrueFan AI has scaled from 5 million to over 20 million videos annually within a year and reported 11x revenue growth over the past 20 months. Its client base spans BFSI, healthcare, consumer goods, and media, including Bajaj Finance, Zomato, HDFC Bank, Axis Max Life Insurance, Cipla, BharatPe, and Goibibo. By bringing the marginal cost of video production close to zero, the platform eliminates the need for shoots altogether, enabling enterprises to generate video content on-demand and at scale.

A key use case has been working with large enterprises to create AI avatars of their brand ambassadors and business leaders, whose time is inherently limited. This allows brands to generate 100x more video content from a single recording. The company has built AI avatars for over 150 celebrities, including brand ambassadors, such as Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant, to name a few.

“AI has fundamentally changed the economics of video creation,” said Nimish Goel, Co-Founder and CEO, TrueFan AI. “It is inevitable that video generation will become as simple as typing an email. With that, video shall become the core layer of communication for enterprises. TrueFan is building the infrastructure for that inflection, enabling organisations to generate and distribute contextual video content on demand.”

A single 5 minute video recording can now be adapted into thousands of contextual videos without requiring another shoot. This enables enterprises to deliver highly personalized communication across dealer-distributor networks, customer lifecycle journeys, as well as generate entirely new, localized content across digital marketing, social media, TVCs, and learning and development. The platform can generate up to 500,000 videos per minute in 175+ languages, and seamlessly integrates with systems such as CRMs, WhatsApp, and RCS to enable distribution at scale.

The growing adoption of AI video among enterprises is also driving the next phase of the company’s roadmap. TrueFan AI is building real-time AI video agents that can interact dynamically across customer support, sales, onboarding, and product discovery use cases, moving enterprise video from one-way communication to real-time interaction. The company has already begun piloting the technology with multiple enterprise clients

As the company continues to scale in India, TrueFan AI has also begun seeing inbound demand from adjacent international markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East, as well as global markets

such as the US. The fresh capital will support the company’s international expansion and continued investment in AI infrastructure and enterprise deployments.

TrueFan AI's international push comes as the global AI video category itself scales rapidly. Platforms such as Synthesia and HeyGen have each reportedly crossed US$100 million in ARR, with HeyGen reporting over 100 million videos generated on its platform - underscoring how rapidly AI video is becoming a default communication channel worldwide. TrueFan AI has already scaled from 5 million to over 20 million videos annually within a year and is on track to reach 50 million this year - placing it firmly on the same growth curve.

“The infrastructure for large-scale enterprise video communication simply hasn’t existed until recently. Budgets existed, intent existed, but production constraints prevented video from becoming a default enterprise channel,” said Arul Mehra, Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners India. “What gave us confidence in TrueFan AI was the feedback we heard consistently from enterprise customers. The platform is already deeply embedded in the workflows of some of India’s largest enterprises, which reflects both the strength of the product and the scale of the shift underway in enterprise video communication.”

“TrueFan AI is building a truly differentiated Video AI platform that enables large enterprises to scale revenues and customer success. We continue to invest in TrueFan AI and Nimish and his team,” said Gautam Patel, Founder & Managing Partner at Z3Partners.

Building an AI video platform that matches global peers on quality at a fraction of their cost is hard. Doing it for a country where a customer in Pune and one in Coimbatore each expect to be spoken to in their own language, and pulling it off across 175+ languages, is what makes TrueFan rare. Nimish, Devender and the team have done exactly that, and we're proud to back them as they take a category-defining AI company from India to the world,” said Sarika Saxena, Managing Partner, IAN Alpha fund
