Infotech acquires Bengaluru-based Zluri to expand SaaS management and identity governance capabilities
Zluri, a SaaS management and identity governance and administration provider, today announced the completion of its acquisition by Infotech. The acquisition creates opportunities for Zluri to scale its capabilities and reach more organisations through Infotech’s global network.
Founded in 2020 by Ritish Reddy, Chaithanya Yambari, and Sethu Meenakshisundaram, Zluri helps organisations discover, manage, and govern SaaS applications, identities, access, usage, and software spending across growing application portfolios. Its capabilities help IT and security teams gain visibility and control over increasingly complex application and identity environments, manage risk and spending, and make more informed decisions. Zluri is backed by Lightspeed, MassMutual Ventures, Endiya Partners, and Kalaari Capital.
Zluri’s application discovery and identity governance and administration (IGA) products will become core modules of Infotech’s new CIO Analytics platform. Introduced globally by Infotech, formerly known as Info-Tech Research Group, CIO Analytics is an API-driven advisory model that combines operational IT data with the company’s research, benchmarks, AI-assisted services and analyst expertise. Application Discovery will also serve as the foundation for the platform’s broader suite of application modules.
“The next era of IT won't be won by software or by legacy advisory alone. It will be won by bringing them together. From our first conversations with Infotech, it was clear this was the right home for Zluri. We share the same values and ambition for what we can build for CIOs and their teams,” says Ritish Reddy, Co-founder and CEO of Zluri. “We started Zluri to give IT and security teams visibility and control over every application and identity in their organisation. Joining Infotech lets us put that data at the heart of how IT leaders make decisions, and we’re excited to build together.”
Through the acquisition, Zluri will continue serving its existing customers as a standalone division of Infotech, with its team based in Bengaluru. The company will also scale its technology teams as it continues developing its capabilities and works with Infotech to bring operational data, technology, AI and human expertise together to support IT leaders.
“AI and analytics are nothing without the right data, and the right data is hard to act on without benchmarks and industry-leading insight that show what ‘good’ looks like. This is especially true for IT,” says Infotech’s Chief Executive Officer, Tom Zehren. “That's the value CIO Analytics brings to our members. Early customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive as it connects their own data with our research, benchmarks, and analysts without delay. Infotech’s new value proposition enables organizations to make better-informed decisions faster. Adding Zluri’s expertise and capabilities helps us bring that visibility to more areas of IT.”
The acquisition comes as Infotech continues to expand its business beyond traditional research and advisory. The company has grown by over 340% in the past seven years, more than quadrupling in size and surpassing $300 million in annual revenue. With access to Infotech’s global community of over 30,000 IT leaders, Zluri will be well positioned to accelerate its international growth and expand its reach among IT decision-makers worldwide.
“Over the past seven years, Infotech has more than quadrupled in size and has surpassed $300 million in annual revenue because we have always stayed close to our core value proposition, which is delivering unparalleled member value,” says Joel McLean, Chairman of Infotech, who founded the company in 1997. “We’re combining operational data, AI, and human expertise to inform the decisions IT leaders need to make now. And personally, I love what the Zluri team has built. I’m excited to welcome them to Infotech. As organizations enter and compete in the AI era, IT leaders need advice the legacy advisory firms simply are not willing or able to provide.”
Solomon Partners served as the financial advisor to Infotech on the transaction. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
