Innomotics India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Nuremberg-based Innomotics GmbH, has solidified its strategic trajectory by signing a landmark agreement with Siemens Limited to acquire the Low Voltage (LV) Motors and Geared Motors business in India.

This acquisition is poised to be executed in the coming months, enabling Innomotics India to deliver an all-encompassing portfolio of motors and drives that mirrors the robust offerings of its parent company. Innomotics GmbH, a global leader operating across 49 countries, is recognized for its thought leadership in electric motors and large drive systems, as well as its commitment to advancing energy efficiency, energy transition, sustainability, and digital transformation.

For Innomotics India, this acquisition is a significant milestone that will greatly enhance its positioning within the electric motors sector. The integration of Low Voltage motors, including Geared motors into their portfolio, alongside High Voltage motors and Large Drives, will empower Innomotics to penetrate and dominate high-demand industries, including Metals, Mining, Water & Wastewater, Chemicals and Oil & Gas. The addition of LV motors will not only broaden Innomotics’ offering but also amplify its competitive edge in the market, allowing the company to craft tailored solutions that drive value creation for its customers.

Satish Godbole, the Executive Director of Innomotics India, said, “Our business in India is now in perfect alignment with all other regions where Innomotics operate. With LV and Geared Motors included in our lineup, we can harness synergies within our various businesses, presenting an unparalleled value proposition to our customers. The LV business is exceptionally dynamic, and this wider reach will significantly bolster the brand presence of Innomotics throughout India.”

As Innomotics India embarks on this exciting new chapter, the company is strategically positioned to expand its market reach and further enhance its customer engagement.
