The digital billing and payment solutions company InvoiceCloud has unveiled a growth plan that spans three years. As part of its new expansion strategy, InvoiceCloud would be investing about INR 350 crore to fortify its global innovation hub in Hyderabad. The plan's objectives include bolstering the team's infrastructure, launching AI projects, and developing new products.
As a result, the firm is expanding upon the work done by the India team to provide solutions for InvoiceCloud users. Based on the results the team is producing, InvoiceCloud chief executive officer Kevin O'Brien stated that Hyderabad is playing an ever larger role in the way the company creates for its clients. With the resources provided by this investment, the firm will be able to continue making strides in the next years, according to O'Brien.
InvoiceCloud Growing its Network in India
A team of over 250 people now work for InvoiceCloud in India, having expanded from a single location in Hyderabad in 2024. With more expansion anticipated for the following three years, the team aims to achieve 300 people by the end of 2026. Supporting artificial intelligence, platform engineering, and product development, over 70% of India's workforce is engaged in engineering and product positions.
Team members in Hyderabad are working to implement InvoiceCloud's AI strategy in areas such as product creation, customer service, platform stability, and technological advancement. The company mostly attributed the 120% year-on-year improvement in per-engineer productivity to AI tools and processes, which helped teams design and deliver solutions faster. It took less than six months for the Hyderabad team to create and implement InvoiceCloud's agentic AI client self-service capability.
Hyderabad a Preferred Destination for InvoiceCloud
InvoiceCloud's engineering, product, and artificial intelligence teams now have more room to work in its 33,000-square-foot Hyderabad expansion, which is a 50% increase from its previous footprint.
