Made-in-India Jaipur Watch Company, Worn by PM Modi, Records INR 25 Crore Revenue
Jaipur Watch Company has increased its FY2024 revenue by over 150%, reaching ₹25 crore in FY2025. Known for heritage-inspired, collectible timepieces, the brand blends traditional craftsmanship with modern watchmaking and is worn by notable figures, including PM Narendra Modi.
Jaipur Watch Company, founded in 2013 by Gaurav Mehta, has reported revenue exceeding INR 25 crore in FY2025, increasing its revenue by over 150% since FY2024.
What began as Mehta’s passion for collecting coins has evolved into one of India’s distinctive luxury watch brands, known for integrating heritage elements such as historic coins, stamps, and miniature art into contemporary timepieces. The brand focuses on creating watches that function as both design objects and storytelling pieces.
“I had always been passionate about collecting coins. It was this passion, combined with my love for horology, that led to the creation of Jaipur Watch Company,” said Gaurav Mehta.
A key milestone in the company’s journey was Mehta’s appearance on Shark Tank India, which significantly increased brand visibility and contributed to its growth.
Craftsmanship, Collections and Expansion
Rooted in a Made-in-India philosophy, Jaipur Watch Company combines traditional craftsmanship with modern watchmaking. Its collections include the Pice Heritage line, vintage postage stamp series, and art-inspired ranges such as the Raja Ravi Varma Collection. The Baagh Collection, inspired by historic coins featuring tiger motifs, remains among its most recognised offerings.
Growing Cultural Presence and Market Demand
The brand has expanded from an online-first business to a growing retail presence with 13 stores across India, while also serving a global customer base. It has also gained cultural prominence, with its watches worn by notable public figures such as PM Narendra Modi, a strong supporter of Made in India products, Ed Sheeran, R. Madhavan, Sidharth Malhotra, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Raveena Tandon.
The company’s growth reflects increasing demand for Made-in-India luxury products that combine heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
“As a watchmaker and a watch brand from India, our efforts are concentrated towards putting India back on the horological map, but with a flavour of India,” said Gaurav Mehta, Founder, Jaipur Watch Company.
