JioStar, SES Join Hands to Strengthen Broadcast Services Across India
JioStar has entered into a multi-year agreement with SES to expand its robust television broadcast services across India and the Indian subcontinent. Under the terms of the agreement, SES will deliver JioStar’s TV channels via the IS-20 satellite, cable, DTH and broadcast networks across the region.
A new multi-year partnership was announced on 22 September between South Asia's media group JioStar and space solutions provider SES. As part of the new agreement, SES will distribute JioStar's television channels throughout India and the Indian subcontinent via the IS-20 satellite.
Thanks to the deal, JioStar can now safely distribute its channels to regional cable, DTH, and broadcast distribution networks. Therefore, guaranteeing reliable, high-quality distribution to millions of homes. With the migration to SES's IS-20 satellite, JioStar has a robust and future-proof broadcast platform that covers a large portion of South Asia and India.
A Win-Win Deal for Jio and SES
