India Expanding its Bilateral Ties with France

In 2024, bilateral trade between France and India was $15 billion, and French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been strengthening their relationship. In southern India, Telangana has quickly become a major centre for technology and investment.

According to a December Reuters story, the two parties have also been attempting to update their tax treaty since 2024 by incorporating international standards for tax transparency. The GCC will function as a worldwide hub for supply chain, innovation, technology, and data for the well-known cosmetics industry. State Government’s Support Allured L'Oréal

CM Revanth Reddy was eager to promote L'Oreal's GCC investment in Hyderabad with all possible government support, Minister Sridhar Babu recalled. According to the Minister, Hyderabad is the ideal location for investments, and the state government is prepared to offer international companies complete support.

In addition to the GCC investment, Telangana's Special Chief Secretary, Industries, Sanjay Kumar, encouraged L'Oréal to investigate production in Hyderabad. According to the announcement, Hieronimus gave a positive response and expressed interest in investigating potential future investments in a Hyderabad production facility.
