NudgeBee Raises $3 Million Seed Round Led by Kalaari Capital to Transform Enterprise Cloud Operations with AI Agents

The Pune-based startup is helping enterprise cloud teams reduce manual operations, accelerate incident resolution, and optimise costs through AI agents, and is already being used by global enterprises such as Rackspace to automate cloud operations at scale.

NudgeBee, a multi-functional AI-agentic platform for Cloud Operations, has raised $3 million in Seed funding led by Kalaari Capital, with participation from prominent technology founders.

NudgeBee will use the capital to continue building its core AI-agentic platform and Enterprise Context Layer, while developing a partnership- and channel-led distribution model alongside direct enterprise sales. The company is also investing in customer success and deployment capabilities to accelerate time-to-value for enterprise customers.

Founded in 2024 by Rakesh Rajendran and Shiv Pratap Singh, NudgeBee is building an execution layer for modern cloud operations. As organisations have moved to cloud-native and multicloud infrastructure, visibility has improved significantly, but execution has lagged. SRE, CloudOps, and FinOps teams continue to face fragmented tools, increasing alert volumes, and repetitive manual tasks, resulting in slower incident resolution and rising cloud costs.

NudgeBee addresses this gap through a proprietary Semantic Knowledge Graph and Enterprise Context Layer that connects telemetry, infrastructure topology, historical patterns, and workflow state into a unified foundation. On top of this, the platform offers AI-SRE agents for incident troubleshooting and automation, an AI FinOps assistant that identifies and executes cloud cost optimisations, and an Agentic AIOps Automation Builder that enables teams to automate repetitive operational workflows.

Because these capabilities are built on a shared context layer, NudgeBee is able to connect signals across systems,  linking cost anomalies to infrastructure events, identifying recurring incidents, and enabling action within existing workflows rather than just surfacing alerts.

Commenting on the Fundraise, Co-founders Rakesh Rajendran and Shiv Pratap Singh, said, “Teams have no shortage of dashboards, but what they lack is connected context and reliable execution. Enterprise operations today are fundamentally a context problem, with knowledge fragmented across people, tools, and workflows, slowing teams down and increasing manual effort. With NudgeBee, we’re unifying telemetry, topology, history, and workflow state into a single foundation, enabling AI agents to not just identify issues but act on them within existing systems. This shift from observation to execution allows teams to move from insight to action with far greater speed, precision, and reliability.”

NudgeBee is already being used by global enterprises such as Rackspace to automate cloud operations, reduce manual intervention, and enable faster, more reliable incident resolution at scale.

Reflecting on this, Nirmal Ranganathan, CTO, Rackspace, said,  “Multicloud complexity does not slow down when your team does. NudgeBee's SRE and AIOps agents absorb routine operations autonomously so our teams focus on high-value engineering. Their extensive library of specialist agents gives Rackspace the building blocks to rapidly create custom agentic workflows at scale.
Sampath P, Partner, Kalaari Capital, added, “At Kalaari, we believe the next phase of infrastructure tooling will be defined by systems that don't just surface problems, but resolve them. NudgeBee stands out in its ability to connect signals across the stack and translate them into reliable action, while integrating seamlessly with existing engineering workflows. With strong early traction, the team is building a platform that reflects how modern cloud teams actually operate, and we're excited to partner with them.”

With cloud environments growing increasingly complex, NudgeBee is positioning itself at the forefront of a new category in enterprise operations, one that moves beyond visibility to intelligent, autonomous execution. By embedding AI agents into existing workflows and unifying fragmented contexts, the company aims to help enterprises operate more efficiently, reduce costs, and scale reliably in an increasingly dynamic cloud landscape.
