On 14 January, Ola Electric declared that its 4680 Bharat Cell platform would be expanded. As part of the effort, companies and startups can now buy the 1.5 kWh 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack or the 4680 Bharat Cells directly for use in portable medical devices, humanoids, automobiles, and drones.

The Bengaluru-based company said in a statement that this announcement will allow startups and enterprises to quickly develop and grow with new energy storage solutions that are designed, produced, and manufactured in India. In addition, the business declared that Ola Shakti, its household Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solution, is now on sale with deliveries for 6 kW/9.1 kWh beginning at the end of January 2026 and 3 kW/5.2 kWh beginning in the middle of February 2026.

Ola Electric on Expansion Spree

The Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh, the brand's flagship motorcycle with a range of up to 500 km on a single charge and power from the 4680 Bharat Cell, has also started to be delivered, the company claimed. Furthermore, it stated that the company has increased PAN India deliveries of the S1 Pro+ 5.2 kWh.

The 4680 Bharat Cell, the business's internal energy platform that now drives its two-wheeler portfolio, and Ola Shakti—one cell, one platform, one portfolio created for India—are at the heart of these products, according to the company. It also stated that Ola Shakti, a portable, on-demand resource made for contemporary Indian homes, farms, and companies, signifies a major change in how Indians will access, manage, and use energy.

Ola Expanding its Portfolio

A representative for Ola Electric discussed the growth and stated that the 4680 Bharat Cell is the cornerstone of the company's internal energy and mobility ecosystem. With a single, scalable energy architecture developed in India, Ola is allowing a variety of use cases by making the platform available to startups and large corporations, ranging from drones and electric cars to medical equipment.

Ola Electric is establishing itself as more than just an EV maker now that the 4680 Bharat Cell powers automobiles, houses, and emerging technology. In actuality, Ola Electric wants to establish itself as the next-generation energy ecosystem in India.

Ola’s Recent Launched Products

At INR 1,89,999, Ola's Roadster X+ has an 11kW engine and a 9.1kWh battery. It can reach a top speed of 125 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in under 2.7 seconds. Priced at INR 1,90,338 and with a 13kW motor, the S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh can reach a maximum speed of 130 kmph, provide an IDC range of up to 320 km, and accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.1 seconds.

Ola Shakti, however, comes in two configurations: 3kW/5.2kWh, which costs INR 1,49,999, and 6kW/9.1kWh, which costs INR 2,49,999. With quick charging and up to 1.5 hours of backup at full load, the system can power high-demand appliances including air conditioners, refrigerators, induction cooktops, farm pumps, and communication devices.
