Ola Electric Launches Hyperservice Centres Offering Same-Day Vehicle Service
Ola Electric, a manufacturer of electric vehicles, announced on 23 December that it is expanding its Hyperservice project by opening dedicated Hyperservice Centres that will provide qualified customers with a free same-day service guarantee. Bengaluru will be the first of the company's existing service facilities to be progressively transformed into Hyperservice Centres as part of the plan. According to the company's BSE filing, the first such centre in Indiranagar is now functioning.
According to the corporation, these facilities are designed to shorten service turnaround times by allowing clients to have their cars serviced the same day without incurring additional costs, all while utilising a fully digital system. According to an Ola representative, the brand is establishing a new standard with Hyperservice Centres—a same-day service guarantee. The newly added quick services will be provided to customers at no additional cost. In order to eliminate friction and provide each Ola customer with a quicker, easier, and more transparent service experience, technology, process change, and scalability are being used.
Features of the Hyperservice project
A dedicated customer lounge, free Wi-Fi, and real-time digital tracking of servicing stages are among the amenities that the Hyperservice Centres will include, according to the exchange filing. As part of a larger infrastructure overhaul, Ola stated that it intends to upgrade a few service centres throughout India to the new style in the upcoming weeks.
The expansion is a component of Ola's larger initiatives to improve its post-purchase support and reduce backlogs. Since scooter deliveries increased in 2023, the EV manufacturer's service network has been under more strain, which has resulted in greater wait times and an uneven supply of spare parts. According to PTI, it also recently sent out a 250-person rapid-response team across the nation to handle its backlogs in after-sales assistance and stabilise customer service.
Ola Electric to Recruit 1,000 Senior Service Experts
In an effort to improve its after-sales operations, Ola Electric is planning to engage over 1,000 senior service technicians and specialist professionals as part of the next phase of its Hyperservice programme, individuals familiar with the matter told PTI. The expansion would greatly augment Ola’s existing after-sales workforce of around 2,000 personnel and follows several weeks of rapid-response deployments to clear service backlogs across major regions.
Various media publications suggested that this is the second, more structural leg of Hyperservice. The task force was the key element in combating the ongoing issues, hence making sure that the company doesn't have to suffer from such issues repeatedly.
