OpenAI and Eternal Announce AI Partnership for Zomato, Blinkit Platforms
On February 17th, the food delivery firm announced that it has deepened its strategic partnership with OpenAI in order to boost its AI capabilities company-wide. A number of its partner platforms and internal systems, including Zomato, Blinkit, District, and Hyperpure, will be improved by the AI. The partnership will centre on integrating AI into Eternal's app portfolio, and it will also encompass Eternal's Feeding India project and AI-native business, Nugget.
The collaboration will also highlight how important AI is becoming in India's e-commerce industry. To further investigate potential new avenues of engagement between its platforms and its clients and business associates, Eternal will collaborate with OpenAI's Enterprise API. It plans to include sophisticated coding models into its own AI orchestration platform and further integrate sophisticated AI capabilities into partner applications.
Eternal Focusing on AI to Drive Growth
By establishing AI as the backbone of its commerce ecosystem, Eternal is fortifying its AI infrastructure across its consumer and enterprise platforms. The company's goal in partnering with OpenAI is to deploy their models for certain use cases. To start, there are examples of scenarios where AI is helping out merchants and delivery partners with their workflows.
Secondly, Eternal is experimenting with next-generation search and discovery interfaces and integrating contextual AI helpers into partner portals. The goal of these endeavours is to keep AI platforms fast and reliable while also making AI useful for everyday decisions and workflows. Nugget, Eternal's AI-native company, will also benefit from the partnership by using OpenAI's models in certain use cases to speed up product development and iteration.
Eternal Exploring More AI Options with OpenAI
Eternal is also thinking about incorporating OpenAI's most recent code models inside. Stitch, the company's own platform for automation and developer orchestration, includes GPT-5.3 Codex among these models. With Stitch, one can automate every step of the process, whether one is an engineer or not. With this cooperation, Stitch will be able to help companies ship faster, automate complicated procedures, and reduce manual overhead across tasks, according to Eternal.
In addition, Eternal and OpenAI will investigate the possibility of working together on a Partner Upskilling Program. This programme would encourage the use of artificial intelligence (AI) within Eternal's network of restaurants and delivery services. In order to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and corporate decision-making, the program will centre on integrating advanced AI tools and assistants into partner apps and portals.
According to Albinder Dhindsa, Group CEO of Eternal, the company is keeping track of the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI). Further, it is keeping a tab on how AI is influencing high-leverage sectors like software development and real-world operations. Eternal is pleased that the partnership with OpenAI will provide the company with further opportunities to learn and innovate.
