Patanjali Ayurved Partners with Russian Govt Through MoU to Promote Global Wellness Initiatives

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the promotion of health and wellbeing was signed on Saturday by the domestic Patanjali group and the Russian government. In a statement, Baba Ramdev, a trustee of the Patanjali Yogpeeth, said that the objectives of this Memorandum of Understanding are research-related projects, health tourism, the interchange of qualified human resources, and the promotion of health and wellbeing.

The expansion of Patanjali's wellness services in Russia is one of the MoU's main goals. According to the statement, extensive research on reversing ageing and increasing longevity will be carried out in collaboration with Russia, allowing for the early identification of major illnesses years before they show symptoms in the human body.

The MoU Connecting Ancient India with Russia

The second goal is to introduce Russia to India's spiritual knowledge, culture, yoga, Ayurveda, and priceless legacy. It further stated that India's wisdom and cultural traditions would be brought to Russia for this reason. The MoU will supply Russia with trained yogis and skilled labour from India, coinciding with Russian President Vladimir Putin's recent visit to India.

Through the MoU, top Indian products will also be promoted in Russia, and Russian brands in India. Russia's minister of trade and chairman of the Indo-Russian Business Council, Sergey Cheremin, stated that they will fortify their collaboration with Patanjali. According to Cheremin's statement, the council intends to change the Russian people's way of life and make them healthier and disease-free by using Patanjali's yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy.

Further Strengthening Russia-India Ties

According to Swami Ramdev, Russia and India are friendly countries. Even before gaining independence, India maintained an emotional bond with Russia that still exists now. The world is fully aware of Russian President Vladimir Putin's fortitude, bravery, and valour, and Indians regard him as a powerful world leader. Russia was, is, and will always be India's friend, notwithstanding the disapproval of some powerful individuals. India and Russia are and will be inseparable friends from a spiritual, religious, economic, political, and social standpoint.
