Unified AI workspace CurvetAI raises Rs 6 crore in pre-seed round led by Merak Ventures

CurvetAI, an AI workspace that allows users to access and combine multiple AI models from one platform, has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed round led by Merak Ventures. A group of angel investors also participated in the round.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI is addressing a problem that has grown with the AI ecosystem itself. Different models are increasingly suited to different kinds of work, leaving users to figure out which one to use, manage multiple subscriptions and move repeatedly between products. CurvetAI has more than 100,000 monthly users globally, with India and the United States as its largest markets and has begun generating revenue.

CurvetAI brings these capabilities into a single visual workspace. Users can work across models for text, images, audio and video, compare outputs and connect different capabilities into a workflow without having to integrate each model separately. The platform is also designed to help route a task to the model best suited to it.

“AI has become incredibly capable, but increasingly fragmented. The user is still expected to understand which model is best for a particular task and then figure out how to make different tools work together. We believe that complexity should sit with the platform. As the number of specialised models grows, making AI genuinely useful will depend as much on choosing the right intelligence as on having access to it,” said Vivek Dubey, Co-founder and CEO, CurvetAI.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen CurvetAI’s technology infrastructure, expand the team and develop its agent-based capabilities, enabling the platform to handle increasingly complex workflows on a user’s behalf.

Sheetal Bahl, Founding Partner, Merak Ventures said, “The best technology companies often emerge when a market becomes more complex than its users should have to understand, and Curvet saw that inflection early. As AI models proliferate, intelligence alone stops being the bottleneck. What gave us conviction was the founders’ ability to translate that insight into a product people were already using at scale, and to keep evolving it as the market moved.”

CurvetAI began as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. The founders soon found that discovery solved only part of the problem where users still had to leave the platform to actually use those tools. This led them to shift the product towards a workspace where different models could be accessed and combined within the same project.

The platform is used by individuals, teams and educational institutions. For AI model developers, CurvetAI also provides a distribution channel to reach users, gather feedback and understand how their models are being used. The company has collaborations with GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba, and is working with educational institutions across India.

Dubey studied design at the Symbiosis Institute of Design in Pune and has previously worked at Infosys, Microsoft and Google. Gupta, CurvetAI’s Co-founder and CTO, previously worked at Samsung and leads the company’s engineering and technical infrastructure.
