B2B Procurement Platform Zinit Raises $8M to Scale AI-Driven Sourcing

Zinit, the AI-native sourcing platform, today announced it has raised $8 million in a seed round led by AltaIR Capital, valuing the company at $48 million. The round also included participation from DVC, early backers of leading AI companies such as Perplexity, who will advise Zinit on its AI strategy.

While the funding fuels global expansion, Zinit is specifically targeting the Indian market's massive shift toward digital procurement. To spearhead this growth, Zinit has appointed Naveenn Suri as Regional Director for India. A veteran of the industry, Suri brings over 25 years of experience in supply-chain transformation, having previously served as a Partner at EY, where he led the firm’s SAP Ariba practice across India.

"Indian enterprises are aggressively moving beyond basic digitization toward intelligent automation. CFOs and CPOs here are looking for immediate ROI and governance, not year-long implementation cycles. Zinit’s ability to automate supplier discovery and negotiation—while guaranteeing cost savings—resonates perfectly with the Indian market’s focus on efficiency and bottom-line impact. I look forward to scaling our operations here and helping more Indian businesses streamline their sourcing." Said Naveenn Suri, Regional Director for India at Zinit

Building on strong Indian momentum, Zinit has already gained significant traction in the region. India’s enterprise ecosystem is currently undergoing a rapid digital transformation, yet procurement remains a bottleneck, with 53% of global processes still manual. The platform is currently used by over 100 enterprise clients, including major Indian operations such as Bacardi India Private Limited, UFLEX Limited, and United Colors of Benetton amongst others. Zinit has successfully built a localized network exceeding 100,000 suppliers. By automating supplier discovery, RFP creation, and multi-round negotiations, Zinit empowers procurement teams to cut sourcing cycles by up to 40% and boost cost savings by up to 30%.

Anton Buzdalin, Co-Founder and CEO of Zinit, commented, This new funding allows us to accelerate our AI roadmap and deepen our presence in our fastest-growing markets. India has been central to our growth story, and the appetite for digital transformation among Indian enterprises is immense. By bringing Naveenn on board, we are reinforcing our long-term commitment to this region, ensuring we have the right leadership to support our clients as they modernize their procurement functions.”

The new funding will primarily fuel product development and international growth. As part of this global scaling strategy, Zinit is aligning its senior leadership in other geographies, including the appointments of Michel Boczko as Regional Director for Latin America and Stan Moskovtsev (ex-McKinsey) as CEO for the United States.

Igor Ryabenkiy, Founder and Managing Partner at AltaIR Capital, added: "Zinit is tackling a massive problem with a platform showing strong adoption in fast-growing markets like India. Their ability to combine AI-driven technology with local market execution makes them uniquely positioned to lead globally in B2B procurement systems."

Zinit’s unique business model, featuring success-fee pricing and flexible SaaS licensing, ensures affordability compared to legacy suites. Clients are protected by the focus on guaranteed outcomes or a full refund, ensuring full alignment of incentives. Transparency and governance are delivered through audit-ready RFP trails and standardized bid evaluation flows, while spend control is strengthened via AI-driven invitations that engage both a company’s own suppliers and Zinit’s extended supplier base.
