Flying Flea Boosts Bengaluru Dealer Network to Accelerate EV Expansion
Flying Flea has increased its dealer network in Bengaluru from one to 11, boosting its retail and service presence before a broader roll-out across India. The electric motorcycle manufacturer has opened six dealerships with five more to open in early August.
After starting with just one store in Bengaluru, Flying Flea has now opened eleven locations throughout the city. The company says there was a tonne of demand for its original product, the Flying Flea C6, so it decided to expand.
Brand officials have announced that six of the new stores are up and running, with the other five set to launch in early August. Each of the following sites—Whitefield, Rajajinagar, Kalyan Nagar, Electronic City, Banashankari, and Yelahanka—has an active dealership. Marathahalli, Peenya, Nagarabhavi, B Narayanapura, and Kengeri would be the locations of the future outlets.
Flying Flea’s Network and Product
The service network of Flying Flea is structured as a hub and spoke model. A central hub is located in BTM Layout and is responsible for specialised technical support. Various spoke centres around the city handle ordinary maintenance. In addition, round-the-clock roadside support is a standard feature for all C6 owners. The ex-showroom pricing of the Flying Flea C6 is INR 2.79 lakh, or INR 1.99 lakh if the customer chooses the Battery-as-a-Service plan.
It runs on a permanent magnet synchronous motor that generates 15.4 kW and 60 Nm, in conjunction with a 3.91 kWh battery pack. Reportedly, Flying Flea can reach a top speed of 115 km/h, have an IDC range of 154 kilometres, and go from 0 to 60 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The Bengaluru market is the first stop on Flying Flea's city-by-city rollout strategy. The company has announced that, as part of a phased launch, it will gradually extend to additional large metro centres.
Flying Flea’s C6 Total Inhouse Product
Rather than modifying an existing internal combustion engine (ICE) platform, Flying Flea claims that the C6 was built specifically for use as an electric motorcycle. Its engine, battery, management system for batteries, and software for controlling the vehicle are all designed to function together as a platform. At the Flying Flea Tech Centre, almost 200 engineers from the United Kingdom and India have worked on the development.
According to the business, over forty-five patent applications have been lodged pertaining to project-related innovations. In 2025, C6 won a Good Design Award for Transportation and a Red Dot Award for Design Concept, both of which are worldwide accolades for excellence in design. Flying Flea is currently concentrating on developing the retail and after-sales infrastructure surrounding C6 as part of their recent development in Bengaluru.
With a gradual rollout throughout more cities in India, the business intends to keep increasing availability. The two colour options that are currently available are Flea Green and Storm Black. Each C6 comes with Flying Flea's round-the-clock roadside support. The neo-vintage style of the C6 is influenced by the original Flying Flea motorbike from the 1940s, but it features a contemporary electric drivetrain and linked technologies.
