WorkIndia raises INR 97 Cr in Series B led by Aavishkaar Capital

Blue and grey-collar jobs platform WorkIndia has raised INR 97 crore in a Series B funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital, with participation from existing investor BEENEXT Capital. The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its technology platform, enhance employer-candidate matching, and expand its reach across high-demand regions in India.

StockGro secures USD 13 Mn in Series B1 funding from BITKRAFT Ventures

Social investing and stock market advisory platform StockGro has raised USD 13 million in a Series B1 round led by BITKRAFT Ventures. The funding will be used to scale its community-led investing platform, expand across asset classes, and strengthen research and advisory offerings.

Healthcare edtech startup Virohan raises USD 7.5 Mn in ongoing Series B

Healthcare-focused edtech startup Virohan has raised USD 7.5 million as part of its ongoing Series B round, led by Mynavi Corporation with participation from existing investors. The fresh funds will support product innovation, operational expansion, and deeper focus on allied healthcare education and employability.

Alimento Agro Foods raises INR 52 Cr led by IvyCap Ventures

Agro-food company Alimento Agro Foods has secured INR 52 crore in a funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. The investment will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen distribution channels, and launch new products across its growing food and FMCG portfolio.

HCLTech to expand its telecom portfolio with acquisition of HPE unit

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has signed an agreement to acquire the Telco Solutions business from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in an all-cash deal valued at up to USD 160 million (including a performance-linked USD 15 million earn-out). The acquisition will deepen HCLTech’s engineering, AI-led network capabilities, and telecom solutions offerings by bringing in industry-proven intellectual property, product engineering talent, and relationships with global communication service providers. The business supports more than one billion devices across over 200 global deployments and will help accelerate 5G network transformation, Network as a Service (NaaS), autonomous networking, and cloud-native telecom services. The transaction is subject to customary approvals and is expected to close in approximately six months.
