Simple Energy Raises INR 1,750 Crore in Series C Round
Simple Energy raised INR 1,750 crore in a Series C round led by the family office of Thyrocare founder Arokiaswamy Velumani. Haran Family Office, investor Amit Mishra and co-founders Suhas Rajkumar and Ankit Gupta also took part. The money will fund a new factory, higher output, a wider sales and service network, and new products.
Founded in 2019 by Suhas Rajkumar and Shreshth Mishra, Bengaluru-based Simple Energy makes electric scooters, including the Simple One and Simple Wave. It builds key parts such as the battery, motor and software in-house. The company has about 80 outlets in 60 cities and has raised INR 2,530 crore so far.
Gravity Raises $15 Million Led by Info Edge Ventures and 3one4 Capital
Gravity raised $15 million in a mix of equity and debt, led by Info Edge Ventures and 3one4 Capital. Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and angel investors also joined the round. The money will go into technology, distribution, brand building and working capital. Gravity also plans to expand into doors, windows, lighting and home automation.
Gravity was started by former Livspace India CEO Saurabh Jain and former Livspace chief business officer Lalit Mittal. The Bengaluru-based company brings specialist interior material businesses together under shared technology, distribution and operations. It currently focuses on kitchens and wardrobes, selling to designers, architects and modular showrooms.
Arivihan Raises $10 Million in Series A Round Led by Accel and Prosus
Arivihan raised $10 million in a Series A round co-led by its existing investors Accel and Prosus. The edtech startup will use the money to enter new states, expand its CBSE courses and build learning content in local languages. It will also invest in AI research, marketing and hiring.
Founded by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan runs an AI-based learning app for school students. It offers video lessons, instant doubt solving and AI study plans for State Board, CBSE and NEET students, without live teachers. About 80% of its subscribers come from smaller towns and rural India.
EDT Raises $2.4 Million in Pre-Series A Round Led by Sauce
EDT raised $2.4 million in a pre-Series A round led by its existing investor Sauce. Alteria Capital and angel investors, including Nicobar's Raul Rai and Delhivery's Ajith Pai, also took part. Vytalyou Raises INR 9 Crore in Pre-Series A Round
Vytalyou raised INR 9 crore in a pre-Series A round from Chetan Jain of Pharma Dose and Ratan Jain of Venus Industries. The round values the company at INR 33 crore. It will use the money to expand its Incremental Lifestyle Clinics network in Mumbai.
Founded in 2025 by Chirantan Bose and Preetesh Bhandari, Mumbai-based Vytalyou offers preventive health and longevity care. Its clinics combine diagnostic tests with personalised treatment plans under medical supervision. The startup says it has served about 1,000 clients and plans to reach 10 locations across India.
Prodoc AI Raises Seed Round Led by Velumani Family Office
Prodoc AI raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round led by the family office of Thyrocare founder Arokiaswamy Velumani. Two existing customers, Dr Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin, also invested. The money will go into AI agents for hospital tasks such as care coordination and revenue management. It will also fund more system integrations.
Founded in 2022 by Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Raghuvamshi Thakur, Bengaluru-based Prodoc AI builds software that connects a hospital's existing systems. It brings patient data from medical records, billing and phone systems into one place. The company says it works with more than 100 hospitals and handles over 1 million patient interactions a month.

Apple Pay Launches in India With Axis Bank Cards
Apple launched Apple Pay in India on 30 September, with Axis Bank as its first banking partner. Users with Axis Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards can pay in stores, in apps and online using an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.
Payment firms including Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU and Pine Labs have enabled support for merchants. Retailers such as Blinkit, Croma, Zomato and Tata 1mg accept the service at launch. UPI and RuPay cards are not supported yet.
Inox Clean Energy Files for INR 10,000 Crore IPO
Inox Clean Energy, part of the INOXGFL Group, has filed draft IPO papers with SEBI for an INR 10,000 crore issue. The IPO includes a fresh issue of up to INR 8,000 crore and an offer for sale of up to INR 2,000 crore.
The company will mainly use the fresh issue money to repay loans taken by it and its subsidiaries. It combines renewable power generation with solar manufacturing, and had a power portfolio of 9.29 GW across India and Africa as of 31 August 2026. The issue is being described as the largest from India's private renewable energy sector.
Reliance-Owned Netmeds Reports Flat FY26 Revenue of INR 44.7 Crore
Netmeds, the online pharmacy owned by Reliance Retail Ventures, reported operating revenue of INR 44.7 crore in FY26. That was up 2.3% from INR 43.7 crore in FY25, while net profit fell 5% to INR 5.5 crore.
Reliance bought a majority stake in Netmeds in August 2020 for about INR 620 crore. The company remains much smaller than rivals such as Tata 1mg, which reported revenue of INR 2,936 crore in FY26. Its advertising spend rose 76% to INR 2.9 crore during the year.
