Bharat Housing Network Raises $5 Million in Green Bonds

Bharat Housing Network raised $5 million through green bonds from Symbiotics. The investment is part of a $75 million green basket bond programme that Symbiotics set up with British International Investment. The money will flow through the group's NBFC, Singularity Creditworld, to fund rooftop solar, electric vehicles and clean-tech loans for small businesses.

Founded by Lalit Menghani, Madhusudan Sharma and Prasad Ajinkya, Bharat Housing Network runs a secured lending network. It gives lenders the technology to offer home loans, clean energy loans, vehicle loans and gold loans. The company says it has enabled INR 2,000 crore in credit for more than 40,000 borrowers. It earlier raised INR 125 crore in a Series A round led by NABVENTURES.

FIG Living Raises Undisclosed Amount From Aman Gupta

FIG Living raised an undisclosed amount from boAt co-founder Aman Gupta, who invested through SailThru Ventures. The brand will use the money to widen its distribution, build physical brand experiences and reach more shoppers. It also plans to explore global design partnerships.

FIG Living is a design-led home and living brand started by former boAt executive Sushant Sharma. It sells lamps, side tables and tabletop products, all made at its own facility in Greater Noida. The company says it has an annual revenue run rate of about INR 12 crore and more than 40,000 customers.

ITC Completes 100% Acquisition of Yoga Bar Parent Sproutlife Foods

ITC has completed its acquisition of Sproutlife Foods, the company behind nutrition brand Yoga Bar, and now owns 100% of it. The FMCG major bought the remaining 52.5% stake for about INR 645 crore, up from its earlier holding of 47.5%.

ITC first invested in Yoga Bar in May 2023, buying a 39.42% stake for INR 175 crore. The digital-first brand sells nutrition and healthy food products online and in a growing number of stores. Its turnover rose to INR 452 crore in FY26 from INR 200 crore in FY25.

AceVector IPO Subscribed 4.92 Times on Final Day

AceVector, the parent of Snapdeal, Unicommerce and Stellaro Brands, saw its IPO subscribed 4.92 times on the final day of bidding. Investors bid for 36.61 crore shares against 7.22 crore shares on offer. Non-institutional investors led demand at 8.53 times, followed by retail investors at 4.83 times.

The IPO had a fresh issue of INR 287 crore and an offer for sale of 4.16 crore shares, priced at INR 30 to INR 32 each. AceVector raised INR 189 crore from 14 anchor investors ahead of the issue. Its operating revenue grew 29% to INR 510.38 crore in FY26.

Subway India Operator EverBrands Files for INR 600 Crore IPO

EverBrands India, which runs Subway restaurants in India, has filed draft IPO papers with SEBI. The issue is a fresh issue of up to INR 600 crore with no offer for sale. The company may also raise INR 120 crore before the IPO, which would reduce the fresh issue size.

EverBrands plans to use INR 125 crore to repay debt and INR 326.85 crore to open new company-owned Subway stores. It runs 678 company-owned and 330 franchise-owned Subway outlets in India, along with Lavazza and F&H coffee businesses. In FY26, revenue rose 34.9% to INR 966.17 crore, while its net loss widened to INR 58.19 crore.

Peak XV Names 18 Startups for Surge 12

Peak XV Partners has picked 18 startups for Surge 12, the latest batch of its early-stage programme, with each eligible for up to $5 million. Fifteen of the startups have been named, while three are still in stealth.

The named startups cover areas ranging from AI and robotics to space tech and fintech. They include Tribe Money, an AI personal finance app, and Hoola Health, which offers healthcare services for children. Others include Puralink, which builds robots to inspect underground pipes, and Riffle, a browser-based music studio.

WEH Ventures Announces First Close of INR 250 Crore Fund III

WEH Ventures has announced the first close of its third fund, which targets a corpus of INR 250 crore. The seed-stage firm plans to back 20 to 25 early-stage Indian startups and expects a final close by mid-2027.

Backers in the first close include Nordic fund of funds Play Capital, several family offices and exited founders from Oziva and GS Labs. Since 2017, the firm has backed more than 30 companies, including Smallcase, Jar, Pratilipi and Animall. The new fund will invest in sectors such as AI, healthcare, fintech and advanced manufacturing.
