River Mobility Raises ₹1,141 Crore in Series C
Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer River Mobility makes utility-oriented e-scooters, with its flagship model Indie — marketed as an 'SUV for scooters' — launched in 2023. The company currently operates over 75 retail stores across India and targets 350 stores by March 2028.
River raised ₹1,141 crore (~$120 Mn) in a Series C round co-led by Elev8 Venture Partners and Claypond Capital, combining equity and venture debt. Equity participants include Singularity AMC, Anicut Capital, 360 ONE Asset, JIIF, HDFC AMC, Yamaha Motor Corporation, Al Futtaim Group, and Mitsui & Co. Debt came from Alteria Capital, Innoven Capital, and Stride Ventures. With this round, River has raised approximately $188 Mn in total since its founding in 2021.
Fresh capital will fund expansion of its existing Bengaluru-area factory, a new greenfield facility, and new products in the utility lifestyle segment. The company reported monthly registrations of 5,514 units in July 2026, a 24% month-on-month rise, compared to just 386 units sold across the entirety of FY24.
InRisk Labs Raises ₹256 Crore in Series A for AI Reinsurance Platform
GIFT City-based InRisk Labs builds technology for parametric insurance and reinsurance. Its subsidiary EarthRe operates as a non-life reinsurer, covering climate risk, natural catastrophe, property, crop, marine, motor, and other specialty segments. The company was founded in 2024 by Aavrit Singhal, Siddesh Ramasubramanian, Shivakhumar R S, and Malay Kumar Poddar.
InRisk Labs raised ₹256 crore (~$27 Mn) in a Series A co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Northpoint Capital. Separately, EarthRe Insurance IFSC received a reinsurance licence from IFSCA, making it the first incorporated reinsurer licensed at the IFSC within GIFT City.
Funds will strengthen underwriting, actuarial, catastrophe modelling, and AI capabilities, and help meet regulatory capital requirements to scale EarthRe's operations within India's $10 Bn reinsurance market.
Hulp Raises ₹25 Crore Seed Round for AI Concierge Platform
Gurugram-based Hulp operates a personal assistance and concierge platform for urban households, combining AI-coordinated operations with dedicated human assistants. Users delegate tasks across over 15 categories — from kitchen management and runner services to travel bookings and government documentation — via WhatsApp or a mobile app. It was founded in 2026 by ex-Policybazaar CBO Tarun Mathur, ex-Mitgo India MD Neha Kulwal, and Vishal Singh Khutel.
The startup raised ₹25 crore (~$2.6 Mn) in a seed round co-led by Sparrow Capital and BITKRAFT Ventures, with participation from DeVC and angel investors including PB Fintech co-founder and chairman Yashish Dahiya.

It was founded in March 2026 by Parth Sarthi, Saransh Goyal, and Krish Vashistha.
Vingo raised ₹10 crore (~$1 Mn) in a seed round led by IndiaQuotient, with participation from Inuka Capital and Credgenics founder Rishabh Goel.

Pune-based Adiabatic Technologies develops custom lithium-ion battery packs, smart chargers, and proprietary Battery Management Systems for OEMs in high-reliability industries including robotics, defence, drones, agriculture equipment, EVs, and solar energy. Founded in 2022 by Darshan Meher, the company claims to have deployed over 20,000 battery systems across more than 25 OEMs.
Adiabatic raised ₹8.3 crore in a seed round co-led by Malpani Ventures and Avinya Ventures, with participation from Appreciate Capital, DeVC, Operators Studio, and UPES Incubator. The company had previously raised ₹1.1 crore in an angel round in November 2025.
Fresh capital will expand manufacturing capacity to 100 MWh annually, accelerate product development, and scale deployment of battery systems across robotics, autonomous mobile robots, and unmanned aerial systems.
