DailyObjects Raises INR 332 Crore in Series C Round

DailyObjects raised INR 332 crore in a Series C round at a valuation of INR 1,050 crore. Xponentia Capital Partners, Anicut Capital and Axiom Asia Private Capital led the round. The round mixed new and existing shares. Early backer Roots Ventures made a partial exit at 18 times its investment.

Founded in 2012 by Pankaj Garg and Saurav Adlakha, DailyObjects sells design-led tech accessories, bags and workspace products. It has about 350 retail touchpoints and plans to open 150 more brand outlets over five years. Its revenue rose 31% to INR 110 crore in FY25, while its loss widened to INR 16 crore.

Lumio Raises $12 Million in Series A Round Led by Blume Ventures

Lumio raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Blume Ventures, with existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital also taking part. The company will use the money to build new home devices, invest in research and software, improve after-sales service and open its first retail stores.

Founded in 2024 by former Xiaomi India executive Raghu Reddy and former Flipkart executive Kailash Sankaranarayanan, Lumio makes smart TVs, projectors and speakers. The brand crossed INR 100 crore in gross sales within 13 months of launch. It now serves more than 35,000 households across 5,000 pin codes.

Zinara Raises $380,000 in Pre-Seed Round Co-Led by Inflection Point Ventures

Zinara raised $380,000 in a pre-seed round co-led by Inflection Point Ventures and Nine Jewellery. Actor Nikita Dutta and other angel investors also invested. The brand will use the money to grow its team, step up marketing and strengthen its supply chain.

Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, Zinara sells lab-grown diamond jewellery designed for everyday wear. It offers more than 400 designs in 18K gold vermeil. The brand has crossed INR 1 crore in annual recurring revenue.

TailBlaze Longevity Raises $300,000 in Pre-Seed Round Led by Comma Capital

TailBlaze Longevity raised $300,000 in a pre-seed round led by US-based Comma Capital. The money will fund its HeartPour wet dog food range, a bigger team and wider reach among Indian pet owners.

Founded in August 2024 by Manaal Maniyar and Palak Devpura, Ahmedabad-based TailBlaze makes dog food aimed at helping dogs live longer. Its recipes are high in protein and low in carbohydrates, and use Ayurvedic ingredients such as turmeric and amla. It sells through WhatsApp and quick commerce apps such as Blinkit.

MoneyTruVa Raises Seed Round Led by Sunil Singhania

MoneyTruVa raised an undisclosed amount in a seed round led by investor Sunil Singhania in his personal capacity. More than 20 investors joined the round, including Raj Shamani, Anant Ladha and Yes Securities' Amar K. Ambani.

Mumbai-based MoneyTruVa is building a platform that pulls financial information from exchange filings, news and social media into one structured place for investors. The platform will be unveiled at an invite-only event in Mumbai on 22 October 2026, when public pre-registration will also open.

GST Council Scraps Arrest Powers of GST Officers

The GST Council has removed the power of GST officers to arrest taxpayers. It also raised the threshold for prosecution to INR 5 crore from INR 1 crore. The changes are part of a set of reforms aimed at making compliance easier for businesses.

The Council also removed the minimum punishment for GST offences, leaving fines or jail terms to the courts in each case. The general penalty, which applies where no specific penalty is set, has been cut to INR 10,000 from INR 25,000.

CoreWeave Enters India With 240 MW Data Centre Deal With AdaniConneX

US-based AI cloud company CoreWeave is entering India through a partnership with AdaniConneX for 240 MW of data centre capacity. The capacity will come up at a campus in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, across three 80 MW buildings.

The first phase is expected to start by mid-2028, and CoreWeave has the option to add another 240 MW later. AdaniConneX is a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and US data centre operator EdgeConneX. CoreWeave plans to use NVIDIA's Vera Rubin chips at the site.

Info Edge Q2 FY27 Billings Rise 12.8% to INR 822.3 Crore

Info Edge, the parent of Naukri and 99acres, reported standalone billings of INR 822.3 crore for Q2 FY27. That was up 12.8% from INR 729 crore a year earlier. Naukri's recruitment business billed INR 613.8 crore, up 12.6%.

Real estate platform 99acres grew billings 21.2% to INR 148.3 crore, while matrimony site Jeevansathi grew 18.4% to INR 39.7 crore. Education platform Shiksha fell 27.2% to INR 20.5 crore. The company said AI-powered search is sending fewer users to Shiksha through search engines.

India's communications ministry has rejected Elon Musk's claim that "certain oligarchs" are blocking Starlink's India launch. It called the suggestion that India's satellite internet rules are unfair or discriminatory "baseless and misconceived".

The ministry said Starlink, Jio Satellite Communications and Eutelsat OneWeb are all at the same stage of security checks. None of the three has yet received final approval to start commercial services. Spectrum can only be assigned after these security checks are complete.
