QNu Labs Raises INR 200 Crore Series A1 Funding

QNu Labs raised INR 200 crore in a Series A1 round co-led by the National Quantum Mission and Speciale Invest, with participation from Sony Innovation Fund, Gaja Capital and Artha Ventures. The round takes its total capital raised to INR 375 crore. The funds will accelerate R&D, strengthen technology capabilities, and scale sales and go-to-market operations across India and international markets.

Co-founded in 2016 by Srinivasa Rao Aluri and Sunil Gupta, QNu Labs is a Bengaluru-based deep-tech cybersecurity company incubated at IIT Madras that offers quantum-safe infrastructure and platform solutions. The company plans to contribute to India's Quantum Secure and Sensing Networks project and expand its quantum-safe technology stack into quantum sensing and AI.

Carrum Mobility Raises $10 Million From Uber

Carrum Mobility raised $10 million, about INR 96 crore, from Uber as part of its Series B round, marking Uber's second investment in the startup this year following a $7 million round in January. The funds will support expansion into existing and new markets, strengthen its technology platform, scale operations, and grow its team.

Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum operates a technology-led fleet management platform focused on CNG and electric vehicles, running more than 5,000 vehicles across six cities with over 18,000 driver partners. The company says it has nearly doubled its business since the last round while remaining profitable, at an annualised revenue run rate of around INR 400 crore.

Marmalade Raises INR 6 Crore Seed Funding

Marmalade raised INR 6 crore in a seed round from a group of investors including Ashok Chokalingam, Robert Sellares, Ishank Gupta, and HomeLane founders Srikanth Iyer and Tanuj Choudhry. The funds will expand distribution, fund brand-building initiatives, and strengthen sales and operational capabilities.

Co-founded in 2025 by Udit Mediratta and Surojit Bhattacharya, Marmalade is a Delhi-based alco-bev startup building flavour-forward alcoholic beverages, with its flagship brand Brightside offering an Indian craft whiskey developed with Amrut Distilleries. The company is targeting INR 15 crore in ARR by December 2026, as it expands from Maharashtra into other markets.

Flipkart Starts Employee Testing Of Food Delivery Service Eat In

Flipkart began testing its food delivery service Eat In among employees in Bengaluru, moving the ecommerce major closer to a market dominated by Zomato and Swiggy. The service is expected to roll out to all Flipkart employees around September 15 before becoming available to consumers in Bengaluru, with other cities to follow.

Eat In will initially run within the main Flipkart app, though the company may launch a separate app later as it scales. The entry adds to Flipkart's growing set of use cases, which already spans fashion through Myntra, travel through Cleartrip, financial services through super.money, quick commerce through Flipkart Minutes and, more recently, microdrama content.

RentoMojo Raises INR 376 Crore From Anchor Investors Ahead Of IPO

RentoMojo secured INR 376.07 crore from anchor investors ahead of its IPO, which opened for subscription on 9 September and closes on 11 September. The Bengaluru-based company allotted shares to anchor investors at INR 404 apiece, the upper end of its price band, valuing the company at around INR 4,200 crore.

The anchor round drew participation from domestic mutual funds, insurance companies and pension funds, including Kotak, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Mutual Fund and Goldman Sachs India Equity Portfolio. RentoMojo's revenue grew 45.5% year-on-year to INR 387 crore in FY26, while its profit after tax jumped 142% to INR 104.2 crore.
