Force Motors of Pune has announced in a statement dated October 22 that they have partnered with Rosmerta Auto Recycling to recycle obsolete cars at their facilities. Rosmerta stated that the agreement will provide a clear path for the retirement of end-of-life vehicles by making the vehicle scrapping firm's facility available to Force Motors' clients.

Eligible vehicles will be taken through the necessary paperwork and recycling procedures, which include cleaning and disassembling, as part of the partnership. After this, recyclable materials will be separated and recovered in Rosmerta's plant.

Partnership Promoting India’s Vehicle Scrapping Sector

According to the announcement, the partners will also strive to simplify the process for car owners who choose to retire their old automobiles. Rosmerta Group President Kartick V. Nagpal said that their customers now have an easy way to find an authorised scrapyard thanks to Rosmerta's collaboration with Force Motors. Rosmerta can recycle metals like steel and aluminium after carefully depolluting and dismantling a vehicle at their plant. This helps make sure that used cars don't go to waste and can be repurposed as part of the larger production cycle, added Nagpal.

In Delhi-NCR, Rosmerta operates as a certified RVSF, or Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility. Through cutting-edge decontamination, disassembly, and material recovery procedures, it offers options for recycling old vehicles in a way that doesn't harm the environment. According to the statement, this will help India achieve its goals of a circular economy and promote sustainable use of resources.

Partnership Adding New Lifeline to Used Vehicle Value-Chain

The move is in line with Force Motors's goal of enhancing resource efficiency all the way through a vehicle's lifespan, not just during production and operation, according to the company. Prasan Firodia, managing director of Force Motors, commented on the agreement, saying that the firm aims to promote responsible car disposal and material recovery by increasing consumer access to authorised scrappage channels. Responsible disposal is an integral aspect of the many phases that a vehicle goes through as it is operational.

Force Motors' partnership with Rosmerta Recycling is an effort to give consumers a legitimate and trustworthy choice when their cars are no longer road-worthy, added Firodia. Before considering potential prospects to expand the arrangement to other locations, the corporation will initially concentrate on Delhi-NCR. Recyclers are able to reclaim metals like steel and aluminium from old cars through a process of systematic disassembly. This aids in the recovery of resources throughout the manufacturing cycle and helps maintain the value of vehicles at the end of their useful life.
