Lissun, a single-speciality health-tech company focused on children with special needs and developmental delay, today announced the successful closure of its Series A funding round of INR 48 Crores. The round was led by Colossa Ventures, with participation from Physis Capital and existing investors including RPSG Capital Ventures, Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter, Multiply Ventures and SucSEED Ventures, as well as new partners New Age India Fund and Beyond Capital Ventures. Lissun operates through its child care brand, Sunshine by LISSUN, which is building a growing network of child development centres across India alongside a suite of AI-led platforms and tools. The fresh capital will be deployed towards expanding Sunshine by LISSUN centres in key cities, building AI-led solutions on Lissun’s proprietary technology & data, and strengthening clinical processes across the network.

“We have always believed technology would be central to Lissun’s vision. Today, our AI tools largely support therapists and parents — but the bigger opportunity is building AI-led solutions on our own proprietary technology and data, with the potential to reach millions of children across India who lack access to quality developmental care. This fundraise lets us scale both our centres and that platform to serve a much larger population of children and families”, says Krishna Veer Singh, Co-founder and CEO, Lissun.

India is witnessing a growing need for advanced developmental and behavioural care for children, but access to high-quality, consistent care remains sparse and fragmented. Lissun is bridging this gap through its child care brand, Sunshine by LISSUN, bringing together high-quality therapists and an AI-led ecosystem accessible both at centres and digitally. The brand has grown 4X over the last year, now delivers 10,000+ monthly therapy sessions through its 25 centres, and is on track for 50 physical centres by next year, while its digital products are targeted to reach over  10 lakh children in the coming years, democratizing access to affordable, quality developmental care. The fresh capital will boost this expansion, as Lissun builds out India’s leading single-speciality, AI-led child development platform.

Commenting on this, Tarun Gupta, Co-founder, Sunshine by Lissun, said, “Our goal with Sunshine by LISSUN is to build an ecosystem where technology, therapists and people come together for every child with special needs. This next phase lets us scale that single specialty, AI-led model — not just to support our therapists and centers, but to build proprietary AI-led products that can reach far more children than our centers alone ever could. We are grateful to our investors for the faith they have shown in Sunshine by LISSUN through this round.”
Commenting on the fundraise, Colossa Ventures founder Vandana Rajadhyaksha said, One in eight children today is affected by neurodevelopmental disorders, yet access to quality, consistent care remains out of reach for most families. Lissun’s model changes that. By adding home-based therapy and AI-enabled clinical support at their centres, they break the linear constraints of these centres —reaching more children, without compromising on outcomes. Colossa Ventures is excited to back this kind of scalable and high-impact model.”

Existing investors like RPSG Capital Ventures doubling down shows the confidence that investors have in the business fundamentals and the growth plans.

Adding to this, Sambit Dash, Partner, RPSG Capital Ventures "When we led Lissun's Pre-Series A, we backed an omnichannel model we believed could scale child development access across India. Since our initial investment, Lissun has demonstrated exceptional execution, growing from 4 to 25 centers under Sunshine by Lissun brand, while strengthening its AI-driven care enabling quality, efficiency and scalability. Doubling down in this round reflects our continued conviction in Krishna Veer and Tarun's vision and ability to redefine the child development ecosystem."
"Child developmental delay in India often goes unrecognised for years, especially now that increased screen time and the pace of modern life make early red flags easy to miss. At Physis, we look for founders who are solving problems that truly matter, and Krishna Veer and Tarun's passion for this mission stood out immediately. We're proud to partner with LISSUN in this journey to improve outcomes for children and families.”, said Vinay Bansal, General Partner at Physis Capital.

As Lissun enters this new phase of growth, the company remains focused on building the largest and highest quality, single-speciality care ecosystem for children with special needs, anchored by Sunshine by LISSUN’s growing network of centres, its best-in-class therapists, and AI-led platforms built on Lissun’s proprietary technology and data, designed to extend quality care far beyond what its centres can reach alone.
