Neeraj Chopra Exits JSW Sports, Launches Independent Athlete Management Company
Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra of India has announced the opening of Vel Sports, his own athlete management company. JSW Sports said in a formal statement that the athlete's formal association is over and that this "begins a new chapter" for the javelin superstar.
Neeraj Chopra, known as the "Man with the Golden Arm", gained notoriety at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics after winning India's first-ever Olympic gold in track and field. He subsequently secured a World Championship Gold in 2023 and a Silver medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024, in addition to numerous podium placements across the international circuit. According to the announcement, Neeraj Chopra, 27, is embarking on a new entrepreneurial journey with this venture. Since 2016, he has been connected to JSW Sports.

The well-known athlete claimed that his experience with JSW Sports over the past ten years has been one of development, faith, and success. His career has been greatly influenced by JSW Sports, and he will always be appreciative of their encouragement and foresight.
He continued by saying that he will apply the same principles to the next stage of his trip as they wrap up this chapter. Divyanshu Singh, CEO of JSW Sports, expressed pride in Neeraj Chopra's journey in the same release. He claimed that JSW Sports has had an amazing experience working with Neeraj. He continued, "His success story reflects our shared philosophy of excellence and purpose." Details of Vel Sports Management
Vel Sports Management is a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), registered in Panipat, Haryana, in accordance with the regulations. Up till March 2024, the partners contributed INR 10 lakh, and it had INR 1.04 crore in reserves and excess.
According to the records, there were two designated partners: Surendra Kumar contributed INR 50,000, and Neeraj Chopra contributed INR 9.50 lakh. According to the paperwork, the brand's turnover was less than INR 40 lakh, the liabilities were INR 2 lakh, and the assets were more than INR 5.72 crore. Notably, Neeraj Chopra publicly confirmed the company's incorporation in April 2023, despite the fact that its gross turnover for the period from April 21 to March 31, 2024, was stated to be over INR 11.14 crore. Over INR 5.65 crore was the entity's profit after tax (PAT) for the same time period.
