Ola Electric posts 20% mom sales growth in April, signals strong comeback

According to VAHAN data, Ola Electric reported a noteworthy month-over-month increase in April 2026. The company's registrations increased from 10,133 units in March to 12,166 units. The updated figures were made public by the firm on 30 April. In a statement, Ola Electric stated that this is a 20% month-over-month gain, further solidifying the recovery momentum saw in March.

With the electric two-wheeler market as a whole falling by more than 22% month-over-month, the company's performance stood out, it said. Only Ola Electric, among the top electric two-wheeler brands, had month-on-month growth in April. The firm said this was a result of rising consumer trust, steady business operations, and persistent demand for its growing line of electric vehicles.

Ola Electric Hoping for a Stronger Comeback

According to an Ola Electric representative, the company's comeback began in March and has been building steam into April. Even though the market fell drastically in April, Ola was the only top EV two-wheeler brand to see a growth in registrations, which increased 20% month-on-month. Improved execution, stabilising operations, and rising consumer confidence are the reasons for this strong growth. Customers have reaped the benefits of the increased cost efficiencies brought about by the commercialisation of the 4,680 Bharat Cells, which were created in-house by the brand. According to the spokesman, Ola Electric is determined to continue this trend and spearhead the next level of electric vehicle adoption in India.

4680 Bharat Cells Driving Ola’s Performance

The business also reported positive momentum for its electric motorcycle line, particularly in major motorbike markets like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. An important player in the electric motorbike market, the Roadster X is building steam at a steady clip.

Also, more and more people are buying Ola goods that are powered by 4680 Bharat Cells. The 9.1 kWh Roadster X+ can reach an IDC range of 500 km with Ola's own 4680 Bharat Cell. Consequently, the business claimed, they have met a critical requirement among motorbike buyers: a need for greater range with less range concern.
