Aims to expand employability-focused learning with industry-grade tools for learners beyond metro cities

Education company PhysicsWallah (PW) has announced a collaboration with Microsoft to introduce certification programs in Generative AI, Data Analytics, and Digital Marketing. These courses are designed to equip learners with industry-relevant, AI-focused skills. The initiative brings together PW’s scale and accessibility with Microsoft’s advanced technical tools to enhance employability in an evolving digital world.

As part of the collaboration, PW’s skilling arm, PW Skills, will deliver these programs. The curriculum will integrate Microsoft’s tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, GitHub, and Microsoft Office 365, to provide learners with hands-on exposure to industry-relevant workflows and applications.

These courses will be available to students across the PW ecosystem and beyond to early professionals and job seekers. With this initiative, PW is creating a new category of job-ready, AI-focused courses built around the in-demand skills in today's workforce, making cutting-edge technology education accessible to every learner across India, regardless of geography or background. Introductory modules will be made available for free on YouTube to build a foundational understanding of the learners before they enrol in advanced programs.

A recently launched course, Copilot for Functional Teams (covering sales, marketing, operations, and more), has already garnered over 200,000 views on YouTube, reflecting strong interest in AI-led productivity tools.

Gopal Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, PhysicsWallah (PW), said, “At PW, we have always believed that quality education should know no boundaries, no city, no background, no barrier. This collaboration with Microsoft is a step in that direction. By integrating industry-grade AI tools, we are attempting to build a generation of professionals who are workforce-ready from day one. The opportunity in Tier 2 and 3 is significant, and we aim to support it.”
“India’s diverse learner population underscores the need for scalable, employment-aligned skilling,” said Geoff Hirsch, Head of Channel, Microsoft Global Skilling. “PhysicsWallah (PW) is equipping learners with job-relevant experience in Microsoft AI technologies, skills they can directly apply in the workplace. Initiatives like this help translate learning into career readiness and long-term economic opportunity.”

The Data Analytics program covers SQL, Python, and data visualisation. It integrates tools like Power BI and Microsoft Copilot for data-driven decision-making and workflow automation while offering exposure to collaborative environments through GitHub and cloud-based labs.

The Digital Marketing with AI program offers over 125 hours of training across SEO, performance marketing, and campaign optimisation, with a focus on using generative AI and Copilot to enhance marketing productivity.

Upon successful completion, learners will receive a certification from PhysicsWallah (PW) and Microsoft. The collaboration reflects a growing focus on AI-focused skilling, as industry and learners try to prioritise practical learning for evolving professional roles.
