Snabbit Launches On-Demand Salon-at-Home Services Expansion
In a move into the beauty services market, Snabbit now offers a salon-at-home service that, in a matter of minutes, links clients with certified beauty experts. This is the first step for the platform into a new market that it hopes will enhance its current home services offerings. After six weeks of testing in the Sarjapur region of Bengaluru, the service has reportedly taken more than 2,000 reservations.
During the trial period, the average fulfilment time was less than 15 minutes, as reported by the firm. At the moment, the pilot is running a business with 25 beauty experts and takes about 50 appointments every day.
Snabbit Opting for Leaner System
Snabbit has developed a lean, instant-first operating strategy, in contrast to conventional salon-at-home models that frequently necessitate numerous professionals and advance scheduling. The high-frequency beauty use cases that this model is designed to address include hair styling, saree draping, head massages, threading, waxing, clean-ups, facials, and hair styling. Snabbit's idea of educating beauty experts to be "all-rounders" who can do a variety of treatments in a single appointment is a promising frontier.
Thus, enhancing productivity while simultaneously making life easier for customers. Additionally, the brand has unveiled optimised beauty kits that are lightweight and monodose, single-use packaging for several cosmetic products. Improved hygiene, less waste, and a better customer experience are all benefits of these kits. The service ecosystem makes use of high-quality items from businesses like Rica and O3+. Women beauty experts with three to fourteen years of experience run the show at the moment.
At Snabbit's specialised training centres, these experts are also receiving additional training. Marketing itself as a "salon by women, for women", the business prioritises the ease and comfort of its female clientele. Importantly, with products starting at INR 49, there is no minimum order value on the marketplace.

Snabbit Witnessing Strong Demand
The brand is witnessing an extremely robust increase in demand, according to Snabbit's VP of sales, Dev Priyam. The company's demand is primarily propelled by organic word-of-mouth in the dense neighbourhoods where it has debuted. To expand the category, Priyam is spearheading the company's efforts.
The client should no longer be required to plan around their basic beauty needs, Priyam continued. Beauty is quickly becoming a convenience-led use case, whether it's before work, after work, or before stepping out. Prior to integrating the service into the Snabbit app and expanding it to its current micromarkets, the firm is currently focused on making the experience ideal. Following Snabbit's acquisition of Pync last year, Priyam became a member of the team. The business intends to penetrate other cities after a slow expansion of the offering across more micromarkets in Bengaluru.
