The Indian digital nutrition, weight management, and metabolic health startup Healthify is combining with the metabolic health startup Berry Street. Established in 2023, Berry Street facilitates virtual nutrition treatment sessions between clients and certified dietitians. Nutritionists can aid with weight loss, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, blood sugar levels, cardiovascular health, athletic performance, food allergies, and overall well-being.

Personalised nutrition programmes, meal monitoring, and tracking are all possible with the help of the company's app. In the time between sessions with human coaches, Healthify's AI assistant Ria can offer individualised advice on diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices. The app that the business offers allows users to keep tabs on their eating habits, exercise routines, weight, fluid intake, and sleep patterns, among other things. Its Snap technology allows customers to easily log meals from images using AI and image recognition.

A Healthy Deal for Healthify and Berry Street

Merging Healthify and Berry Street will bring together their respective AI platforms, physician networks, and US insurance systems. As co-CEOs, Noah Kotlove of Berry Street and Tushar Vashisht of Healthify will head the merged company. In the United States, the business will keep using the Berry Street name. However, in India and other foreign regions where Healthify has a strong customer base, the name will be retained. A collaboration between Berry Street and Tia, a hybrid women's healthcare provider, was launched in June. In order to better assist women going through menopause and perimenopause, this collaboration was established to link Tia members with clinical nutrition therapy.

Along with digital health businesses Twin Health, Curai Health, Wheel, and Aaptiv, Berry Street became a part of Walmart's Better Care Services platform two months ago. Increased availability of weight-management resources, such as GLP-1s, is a primary goal of the collaboration. As of the same month, Berry Street is now available to Amazon employees through the Health Benefits Connector, an employer-sponsored digital health tool matching service.
