Capture a Trip Secures INR 75 Lakh Investment from Shark Tank India Judges

Two Shark Tank India judges have invested INR 75 lakhs in a Delhi-based experiential travel brand, Capture A Trip (CAT), at a valuation of INR 15 Crores. 

With this investment, the brand plans to expand its international routes while deepening its presence in offbeat Indian destinations, further strengthening India’s youth travel ecosystem.

Capture A Trip is an experiential travel brand curating community-led journeys across India and international destinations. Known for its focus on first-time travelers, safety, and immersive experiences, CAT has rapidly grown into a trusted name among young Indian explorers.

In an episode of Shark Tank India Season 5, aired yesterday, Nitin Khanna ( Founder & CBO) and Anurag Singhal (Co-founder & CBO) presented CAT’s business model and sought an investment of INR 75 lakhs for a 5% Equity.

The Sharks, impressed by the innovative model and Nitin's entrepreneurial spirit, engaged in a bidding war. The final deal was struck at INR 75 lakhs for 5% equity, valuing the company at INR 15 crores.

The deal was clinched with two Sharks: Kunal Bahl, Indian entrepreneur and former CEO of Snapdeal; and Mohit Yadav, co-founder and CEO of India's popular science-forward skincare brand, Minimalist. Each Shark initially offered varying amounts, but they eventually joined forces to make the collective offer that Nitin accepted.

Capture A Trip has positioned itself as more than a travel company, it is a movement enabling first-time travelers, solo explorers and young professionals to experience travel that is safe, social, and deeply experiential.
