CtrlS Raises INR 250 Crore Funding

CtrlS raised INR 250 crore, including INR 200 crore from Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath and INR 50 crore from entrepreneur Sreeram Reddy Vanga. The funds will go towards infrastructure expansion and capacity build-out to meet growing enterprise and hyperscaler demand across India.

Founded by Sridhar Pinnapureddy, CtrlS is a hyperscale data centre operator building AI-ready infrastructure for India's digital economy. It operates 19 data centres across nine key markets with more than 370 MW of capacity, and has 4.4 GW of projects at various stages of execution.

Butterfly Learnings Raises INR 65 Crore Pre-Series B Funding

Butterfly Learnings raised INR 65 crore in a Pre-Series B round led by Inflexor Ventures, with existing investors Enzia Ventures, Insitor Impact Asia Fund and IIMA Ventures also participating. The funds will expand its centre network beyond Maharashtra, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, and grow its therapist training programme.

Founded by Dr Sonam Kothari and Dr Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings is a Mumbai-based paediatric behavioural health platform for children with autism, ADHD and learning disabilities. It runs 90 centres across 22 cities and holds an exclusive global licence for Get SET Early, an eye-tracking-based autism screening technology.

AlgoFET Raises INR 15 Crore Pre-Series A Funding

AlgoFET raised INR 15 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Piper Serica. The funds will accelerate development of its infrastructure products, expand in-house manufacturing, and scale deployments across defence, enterprise and international markets.

Founded in December 2023 by Ankit Mishra, AlgoFET is a Bengaluru-based deep tech startup building autonomous ground infrastructure for drones, covering docking, charging, battery management and fleet monitoring. It has deployed more than 2,000 units and has an order pipeline of over 4,000 units.

First Coffee Raises $1.3 Million Pre-Series A Funding

First Coffee raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series A round led by Japanese venture capital firm DG Daiwa Ventures, with participation from BEENEXT and other angel investors. The funds will accelerate store expansion, build out a corporate team, and strengthen brand marketing and product development.

Founded in 2024 by Sohrab Sitaram and Shiv Dhawan, First Coffee is a grab-and-go speciality coffee brand with 25 stores across Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. The round takes its total funding to $2.5 million, and it now plans to expand into Tier 2 markets.

Zenalyst Raises INR 3 Crore Pre-Seed Funding

Zenalyst raised INR 3 crore in a pre-seed round through compulsorily convertible debentures, with participation from angel and corporate investors including SKIL Cabs and GERP Technologies. The funds will strengthen its ZenForce platform and expand its AI agent library across treasury, procurement and legal workflows.

Founded in 2025 by Nagendra Singh, Sanketh Krishnappa and Vijay Jha, Zenalyst is a Bengaluru-based enterprise AI platform that connects with more than 150 enterprise systems. Its clients include Sattva Group, Bharat Biotech and Puravankara, and it says its technology has cut manual effort by up to 90% across targeted workflows.

DigiDukan Raises INR 2 Crore Angel Funding

DigiDukan raised INR 2 crore in angel funding from Vinay Gupta and Shubham Gupta, directors at United Plywood Group. The funds will strengthen its technology and product capabilities, expand into new construction-material categories, and support higher order volumes across Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.

Founded by Lakshya Agarwal and Kshitij S. Rungta, DigiDukan is a Jaipur-based B2B quick-commerce startup that lets construction-material retailers order supplies on demand with a 60-minute delivery model. Its monthly GMV has grown eightfold since the start of 2026, with a repeat customer rate of around 90%.

Neuromod Aqua Raises Pre-Seed Funding From Porush Jain

Neuromod Aqua raised pre-seed funding from Porush Jain, founder of Sportskeeda. The amount was not disclosed. The funds will help establish its manufacturing platform, develop and validate its productised sewage treatment plant, and complete initial commercial deployments.

Neuromod Aqua is an Indian water-infrastructure company building factory-manufactured, modular plants for decentralised sewage and effluent treatment. It is led by founder and CEO Anuj Arora alongside co-founder and CTO Anand Dad, and plans to commission its first manufacturing facility and deployments around Delhi NCR over the next year.

Shiprocket Lists At 35% Premium On Market Debut

Shiprocket made a strong stock market debut, with shares listing at INR 131 on the NSE, a 35% premium to its INR 97 issue price, and at INR 129.50 on the BSE. The listing gave the company a market capitalisation of about INR 9,531 crore, following an IPO that was subscribed 99.38 times.

The Gurugram-based company's INR 1,617.5 crore IPO comprised a fresh issue of INR 885.5 crore and an offer for sale of about INR 732 crore. Its FY26 operating revenue rose 24% to INR 2,024.1 crore, while its net loss widened 7% to INR 79.2 crore, and it now joins listed logistics peers such as Delhivery and Shadowfax.

Swiggy Gets Shareholder Nod For IOCC Status

Swiggy shareholders approved a plan to convert the company into an Indian-owned and controlled company, with foreign ownership capped at 49.5%. The resolution passed with 99.99% support at the company's annual general meeting on 18 August, months after an earlier version of the proposal was rejected in May.

The move matters most for Instamart, since IOCC status would let Swiggy pursue an inventory-led model for its quick commerce business, which currently runs as a marketplace. Swiggy said it plans to shift to an inventory-led approach within two to four quarters of the approval, and the changes also affect board nomination rights previously held by Accel and SoftBank.

KKR Acquires Minority Stake In BookMyShow

KKR signed definitive agreements to acquire a minority stake in BookMyShow, the Indian ticketing and live entertainment platform, for an undisclosed amount. The investment will support BookMyShow's live entertainment business and its expansion across India.

Founded by Ashish Hemrajani, BookMyShow operates across 700 towns and cities in India with more than 7,000 partner cinema screens, and its live entertainment arm has hosted acts including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. The company is already backed by Network18, Accel, Elevation Capital, Stripes Group and TPG, and also operates in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the UAE and Sri Lanka.
