NeoGrowth Raises INR 85 Crore From FMO and LeapFrog Investments

NeoGrowth raised INR 85 crore in a mix of equity and debt from Dutch development finance institution FMO and existing investor LeapFrog Investments. The funding will help the lender grow its loan book to nearly INR 3,000 crore before it needs more equity.

Founded in 2011 by Dhruv Khaitan and Piyush Khaitan, Mumbai-based NeoGrowth is a digital lender for small businesses. It assesses borrowers using digital payment data and cash flows rather than relying only on collateral. The company serves more than 1 lakh businesses across over 25 cities.

KISAH Raises INR 35.9 Crore in Series A Round Led by Fireside Ventures

KISAH raised INR 35.9 crore in a Series A round led by Fireside Ventures, at a post-money valuation of INR 211 crore. The brand will use the money to open more stores and strengthen its supply chain, warehousing and technology.

Founded in 2018 by Yash Sarawagi, Yashwi Ladsaria and Saurav Kothari, Kolkata-based KISAH sells ethnic and occasion wear for men and boys. It sells through Myntra, Amazon and AJIO, its own website and 12 stores, and plans to reach 100 stores. Its revenue reached INR 65 crore in FY26.

TCS Q2 FY27 Profit Rises 4% to INR 13,884 Crore, Adds 10,000 Freshers

TCS reported a net profit of INR 13,884 crore for Q2 FY27, up 4% from the previous quarter. Its revenue rose 1.3% quarter on quarter to INR 73,188 crore, and grew 11.2% year on year.

The IT major added 10,000 freshers during the quarter and a net 4,258 employees overall. Its chief human resources officer said TCS is hiring in line with demand. The company’s AI revenue reached $3.1 billion, more than 10% of its total.

NABVENTURES Announces INR 450 Crore First Close of Second Fund

NABVENTURES, the venture arm of NABARD, has announced a first close of INR 450 crore for its second fund. The fund is targeting a total corpus of INR 1,500 crore, including a green-shoe option.

The fund will back early and growth-stage companies in agritech, rural fintech, climate solutions and farm supply chains. NABARD is the anchor investor. NABVENTURES’ earlier funds have backed 23 companies.

VinFast Plans 50 Electric Motorcycle Showrooms Across India

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has signed letters of intent with more than 50 Indian dealers to set up electric motorcycle showrooms. The outlets will cover 34 cities across 15 states and Union Territories.

VinFast entered India’s electric two-wheeler market about a year ago and is also building charging and after-sales networks. It is working with local suppliers on two new models for India. The company has earlier announced plans to invest $2 billion in the country.

Amazon Lays Off At Least 100 Employees in India

Amazon has laid off at least 100 employees in India, mainly in retail and customer service roles, as part of fresh global job cuts. Fewer than 1,000 employees were affected worldwide, across the US, the UK and India.

Amazon said it adjusted parts of its Stores business to better deliver on its priorities. The cuts came as the company launched its Great Indian Festival sale. Amazon had earlier cut more than 500 jobs in January 2026.
